My favorite place to eat and drink in Hyde Park is definitely Ja Grill! I eat here at least once a week and have never had a bad meal. Pretty much everything on the menu is delicious, but their lamb chops are the best I've ever eaten -- and their dark n' stormies are to die for (make sure you ask for the extra 151 drizzle on top)! They serve authentic Jamaican cuisine including jerk chicken, curry goat, ox tail, ital stew (vegetarian), and whole red snapper (escoveitch). If you're not hungry or you're in the mood for drinks late-night, you can also pop in just for cocktails. Weekdays you can watch the games on TVs they have around the full service bar and restaurant, and on weekends they add a DJ who spins pulsating Jamaican and Caribbean beats. Did I mention it's "THE patio" to dine out at in Hyde Park for summer dining? Make a reservation to avoid the lines!
