A hole-in-the-wall Japanese ramen (noodle) shop. They serve Oxtail ramen on Mondays only. My favorites are their tan-tan (spicy) ramen and tomato ramen (if you cannot eat spicy). They also have vegan choice there too.

What kind of sushi can you get with $17? Sashimi and Miso Salmon Kama combo is one of the many $17 lunch menu and early bird specials ( order between 5:30pm to 6:30pm). The portion are so generous that I usually have to pack a doggie bag.

It is a take out place for local "poke"(raw seasoned fish). A poke bowl of $10 after Diamond Head trail hike will calm your stomach for a good few hours. They close early and so check their hours before you go.
