This venue is the heart of Old Town Calabasas. Good Mexican food , family friendly and can handle large parties. On the weekends there is live music and a fun place to party. The entire place with the exception of one room is outside. Sunday is a huge motorcycle event ...bikers from everywhere drink, eat and dance it's quite a hoot! There is also a Sunday Brunch.

This place will take your breath away. Only about 10 miles North of us is a spectacular lake with lakeside dining. You truly feel transported to another country in minutes. Great Itallian food, great service and views everywhere you look. If you are interested in lighter fare, try The Landing next door with the same great views featuring sushi, salads and sandwhiches.

Just like the name indicates, this is a 100 year old restaurant saloon. Very limited seating and reservations a must ..but this local joint is nestled in Mailbu Canyon ( 15 minutes north of us) and really fun. Great place to meet friends as the booths hold 8. The food is amazing , great rib eye steak and roast chicken and if you want the old cowboy experience this is the place to go. The Cornell Winery next door is lovely and a wonderful place to do some wine tasting before you go next door for dinner. Unfortunately it's only open Thursday- Sunday but if you're here then it's a must but I would call at least a week prior..

One exit north of us if you want to take a magical ride thru an amazing canyon bringing you to Malibu, there is a spot on the sand with great food and beach acess that lives up to its name, "Paradise" . Don't let the parking fee scare you...it's only $6 if you spend $35 in the restaurant and you have 4 glorious hours there. Wether you want to spend a day at the beach or watch the sunset you can't beat this spot. I believe you can make a reservation and there still might be a wait...but what a spectacular place to wait! Just be sure to get your parking ticket validated in restaurant or there is a $35 parking fee but if you want to spend the whole day it's worth it. There are comfy beach lounges to rent and more!

Drinks & Nightlife

Calabasas is a bedroom community we roll up the sidewalks here at about 10:30 but our neighboring town, Woodland Hills, has a big selection of bars and restaurants that stay open late. One of our favorites, which is only a few miles from us, is The Local Peasant. Very rustic and open ....great drinks and bar food. Fun place to meet people too!

What a time travel trip to the past. This little gem is located in the heart of Old Town Calabasas and has been historically preserved. This was the Inn back in the day that the Cowboys stayed in and watered their horses before making the trek into Los Angeles when the sun came up. There are live stock and daily tours for a donation only. This spot is now a featured field trip for all LA unified elementary schools. It's an amazing peice of history.
