The closest brewery to the Cottage Molly Rose serves great mix of beers often specialising in fruity farmhouse ales. The Collingwood Beer Trail links other nearby breweries like The Mill (my favourite), Bodriggy, Range, Stomping Ground, Fixation, the Clifton Hill Brewpub and The Craft & Co!

1km from the cottage over Hoddle Street, the falls themselves aren't that exciting but they form the gateway to the Yarra Trail, Merri Creek Trail and Yarra Bend parklands which has lots of tracks to follow.

City advice

Getting around

The route 86 tram connects to Melbourne's coolest suburbs

Walk to Smith Street (500m) and get on the 86 tram. Only a few stops towards the city you'll get into the heart of Smith Street and about 1km up the road you'll hit Gertrude Street, another few hundred metres and the tram crosses Brunswick Street. After 2km you'll be at the edge of the CBD near the Royal Exhibition Buildings, Melbourne Museum, St Vincent's Hospital, Parliament House and Melbourne's theatre district. Outbound the 86 connects to Clifton Hill, Westgarth, Northcote and Thornbury along Queens Parade and High Street.
