This is a great place for you to walk to or get in your car and drive to as it’s just 2 to 3 minutes away by car and 10 minutes away by walking and there are great hikes -like the Mash hike (from the original show) …
it’s nostalgic and the area is so enchanting. You need to be very careful on the road when you’re walking so maybe it’s best to take a drive around to check it out and see if that feels comfortable for you but it is really lovely.

Great ambiance, wood fired BBQ Steaks, Chicken,....picnic style in great restored wood booths or picnic tables. Fun and festive as the Peacocks walk around. Very special!

Having lived in Malibu I wish I could say that was the best farmers market but no this truly is the best one around and it’s very close and it’s in chanting because it’s sitting in old Calabasas and they have a great selection and then you can go to any of the multitude of little restaurants that are in the area there and it’s just a fun foodie day… And being a foodie… I love it… Enjoy

From Thursday to Sunday this place is truly happening and has such a great vibe. People come from all over just to visit this place along with right next door there is the old place and it has great food for those who are carnivorous and once again the people are really lovely… Keep in mind Sundays are when all the cool bikers come by and go to these places so they are along the infamous Mulholland Highway… So you may be hearing them on a Sunday.

Pack Your Picnic to the Beach
We have found a wonderful vintage picnic basket and put it in the washroom just for you. Feel free to go to Sage Restaurant or Basta’s‘s Italian restaurant and order up whatever you’d like to put in the basket for a beautiful lunch and grab some of those wonderful beach towels grab your sandals put on your shorts and swimsuit and enjoy one of the loveliest days ever at the beach… You can go straight across Canaan to Pacific Coast Highway take a right and go down the hill and at the bottom of the hill just before Zuma Beach you’re gonna take a left and it winds around right to the beach!
