if there is subway st. go with subway
there is usually so much traffic in Istanbul especially around 17.00 because of the people coming off work.

for the ones with a car
free parking space is usually a problem, better not to waste time on it since your time is limited in Istanbul. you really should know the city to not run into traffic jam. hit me up when you need to go to a place. Best app to avoid traffic is Yandex Navi but it could be misleading don’t be shy ask me about it.
