Just locate the Pepper Pot and stroll down into a beautiful park. Marvel at the Swans but do please take care of the seagulls, they love a chip and don't really ask first! The squirrels and the local park cat are a sweet distraction from city living. It is a lovely place to be during the daytime.

City advice

Getting around

Like most cities the car is not King.

The buses are excellent all over the city and are a great way to explore the different parts. Buy one of those hop on hop off tickets and get exploring. The Trains are also good and you can be in London in about an hour, visit the art galleries and museums have some food and catch the last train back just before midnight.
Book before you go

The Early Bird gets the best table in town.

If you find a restaurant you like the look of before you arrive, I recommend booking it immediately. That way you won't miss out on the incredible food scene we enjoy here. Top Tip!
Customs and culture

This is a Welcoming City

It would be true to say you are entering a bubble when you get here. Brighton is not quite like anywhere else in the UK. You will sense that as soon as you arrive. Enjoy this city by the sea, explore it's hidden corners and meet the locals. Welcome to Brighton!
Don't miss

Sunday Market

An early rise and off to the Marina, a blast of salty sea air and a brilliant antique and brocante market. It’s a local secret….not anymore!
