Sightseeing

Charleston has many museums to visit. The USS Yorktown is an old war ship open to the public. Carriage rides around the town with a tour guide. Walk the battery and see the old cannons. Visit Fort Sumter, it made it threw the Civil War. Waterfront park is always beautiful! Magnolia Plantation is always worth a stroll.

Walking or the bus

Almost everyone walks from place to place Downtown. There is a bus system as well.
Book before you go

Most of the museums and some upper scale restaurants.

California Dreaming, Poogan’s Porch and Halls Steak house you should call ahead for seating. The USS Yorktown may also require a reservation.
