Mile End is a little more hipster, it is technically bound by Mount Royal, St-Laurent, Parc and Van Horne. Just walk up St-Laurent and it starts getting good from Villeneuve and up.

Cocktails and bars

Super hip Japanese whiskey bar just down the street. You have to look carefully for the door, it's a little hidden right next to Patati Patata, in front of the bus stop. Sometimes you have to wait a little. The atmosphere is dark and mysterious, really great for a date night.

Try to arrive early because this place gets packed early. This hip spot is always busy and is owned by the same owners as Majestique. Amazing cocktails and they also have a great food menu.

Hangout Spots

This is where the cool kids hangout in the summer in the evenings. Pack a picnic with wine or beer or maybe bring a bbq. The popular areas are along Esplanade between Duluth and Rachel. Great for families in the day too. There is a play gym closer to Parc and Rachel.
