Guðlaug hot baths is a must visit if you visit Akranes, which is located 20 minutes by car from our cabin. The baths are located on the beach with view over the sea. We recommend you take a dip in the sea and then warm up in the hot bath.

Hreppslaug was built in 1928 and is preserved as a cultural heritage. Water from hot springs close by, is led directly into the hot tubs and swimming pool. It's a cozy country pool in beautiful surroundings.

Situated in beautiful Hvalfjörður about 45 min drive from the cabin you will find newly opened geothermal baths, Hvammsvík. Eight natural hot springs of varying temperatures, situated along the shoreline and merging with the ocean. They also have an amazing sea food soup for a great price! This is currently our favorite bathing place in Iceland.
