My FAVORITE RESTAURANT IN TOWN. It’s “Dim sum” style. Basically Asian fusion tapas, a lot of mini dishes on the menu to try. Try the Asian pizza, duck boa rolls, soup dumplings, fish and whatever the waiter recommends.

Another fav BBQ. Owner was supposed to compete on Chopped but Covid hit... Their beef cheeks sell out every Friday/Sat. But if you get there early enough or call ahead you can reserve some. Odd hours, be sure to check before you go. It's phenomenal. You should also try the burger!! So much goodness. A lot of other food trucks and coffee to choose from at the Cosmic Coffee beer garden in general. It’s a staple.

FAV Two-Steppin'. Thursday night is college night (pretty young crowd) but Friday and Saturdays are great too. It may look far away but it's really only a 15min max drive (or Uber) away. If you are looking to get out and ACTUALLY get some dancing in, so long as you are approachable, not saying no to askers, and smiling, I promise you'll get asked to dance all night long! Great people that frequent here and they are all so excited to teach you :)

Where Willie Nelson became famous! Ask to see his secret back door entrance!! Story is, before he was famous Wille used to climb through the back window and walk onstage barefoot with his guitar in hand and begin performing and captivating the audience. They often got him confused for the main act and sing and jammed along. It was found out what he was doing, but he was so good they let him play anytime he snuck on stage. To this day they they built his own back door entrance so he no longer had to climb through the window. They leave it open to welcome him to come play anytime he pleases. Make it out on a Fri/Sat night and you just might luck up with a secret appearance from barefoot Willie himself!
