This is a very good Thai cuisine.Its on our street...Ithimk it's byob.You need to book as always busy. It's closed on Sundays.

Bangor is a seaside town which is approximately 30min train ride from Botanic station. It's a lovely train journey especially for children. It has a pub restaurant called the Salty Dog where you can bring your pet. Doggie permitted on train also.Botanic train station 7 mins walk from house.

St Georges Market is a really lovely old market.Its open Friday Sat and Sunday. Friday is a very down to earth food market fresh fish veg..antiques clothesfood stalls etc. Sat is more cosmopolitan with music and lots of food stalls.Sunday similar. Definitely worth a visit.

Stranmillis is a nice little village close to our house. It has some nice places to eat coffee shops. You can stroll through Botanic park to access . You will see a restaurant called Maggie Mays...they have great milkshakes cooked breakfast and give huge portions very reasonable.
