Neighborhoods

One of our favorite spots in Charleston is King Street, which offers far more unique and high-end shopping than one might expect for a small city that normally tops the tourist destination hot spots list.

Tanger Outlet is a great place to shop given the amount of stores and choices you are able to walk through without driving in traffic. The whole place is kept clean so it's nice to walk.

Food scene

The food and service were impeccable. We decided to try some appetizers like tapas - our top picks were the She-Crab Soup (yum, yum, yum) and Oysters McClellanville (do not forego this delectable opportunity!) The crab-stuffed mushrooms came highly recommended and were good, but not our favorite dish. We also ordered the bbq shrimp and grits (of course!) and hush puppies.
