Don't be put off by the outside! this is a fantastic pizza place run by a great Italian family. They serve fab pizza either whole or by the slice. It can get very busy and be slightly chaotic but that just adds to the charm. They don't stay open late and the opening times vary so it's worth checking online before you go. They also have a take-away service if they're not too busy!

Drinks & Nightlife

Fantastic bar and beer shop. Either choose a draught ale from the pump, these are changed frequently and are often local breweries. Or pick a can or bottle from the vast selection in the fromt of the shop. Just a few tables (with more upstairs) Drink! gets busy but it's well worth a visit.

The Trades Club is an iconic music venue, punching well above it's weight with the calabre of artists they manage to attract. Recently hosting the likes of Patti Smith, Martha Wainwright, Donovan and Mr Scruff. If you like live music it's worth a stay in Hebden Bridge just to visit the Trades. If you aren't lucky enough to get a ticket but fancy a late night they often have DJ on after the pubs close at the weekend, just check the website.

The Libertene is about a mile from Hebden Bridge. They are just open from Thursday to Sunday nights. Serving an ever changing menu of local ale as well as a great selection of spirits. They have a street food vendor outside, this changes every week, and if your lucky a 'cocktail caravan'! They often have either live music or a DJ. It's a great bar with a brilliant atmosphere, although it can get chilly in the winter so wrap up!

Sightseeing

One of the most historic villages in the Pennines. Wander round it's pretty cobbled streets or visit Sylvia Plaths grave in the local churchyard. Truly staggering views down over Hebden Bridge. It's a great walk straight from the apartment up 'The Buttress' which was the site of a battle during the Civil war.

The Piece Hall has recently undergone an enormous re-generation. It reopened on Yorkshire day in August 2017 and is well worth a visit. The oldest surviving Cloth Hall in the country the Piece Hall now houses a range of shops, cafe's, bars and restaurants and runs a host of events, lots of them free. Halifax is also home to the Square Chapel, again recently re-generated. Hosting theatre, comedy and music but worth a visit to the cafe just to take a look at the building.
