Rouge River-Siskiyou National Forest
June - September, check out Lake of the Woods, Mountain Lodge and Resort area. $5 per vehicle. The Restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and there's a day use park/beach area great for kids and adults. Nice clean lake to swim in, float, hang-out and have fun. You can also rent boats, kayaks, canoes, boat with outboard motor, peddle boat, sternwheeler, paddleboards and patio boats. Fishing too.

June - September, check out Lake of the Woods, Mountain Lodge and Resort area. $5 per vehicle. The season runs from February through early November, and there are three theatres: two indoor stages, the Angus Bowmer Theatre and the Thomas Theatre, and the flagship outdoor Allen Elizabethan Theatre, which opens in early June and runs through mid-October. They offer 11 different plays that include three or four by Shakespeare and seven by other classic writers, as well as modern and contemporary work and world premieres. When you visit you can see one or two plays or up to nine plays in one week! You can purchase tickets at www.osf.org or "rush" seats 1 hour in advance of show at the ticket office.
