We love ice cream, and Reeds Dairy is our absolute favorite. They have locations on Broadway in Idaho falls and in Ammon as well. It's a local favoite and they have a big selection to choose from. You will also find a limited selection of ice cream at the HIt The Road gas station on Iona Road just down the street from the airbnb.

There is only one place our family goes to for Chinese food. And this is it. It's also a quiet place to eat for easy conversation. A TIP; call ahead and get a take-out order, then enjoy dinner at one of our local parks or bring food back to the apartment to enjoy. Our favorite is a #10 (mandarin chicken and fired rice) or a #13 broccoli chicken.

FYI---I'm not sure why this link comes up with the Golden Crown--but It should read; Manwaring Cheese. The pictures are correct but the title is not. If you like cheese this place is for you. Lots of different cheese from all around the world to sample. It's located in downtown Idaho Falls and also features a delicious grilled cheese sandwich with your choice of cheese on sourdough bread. Yummy.

The mission of the Iona Historical Museum Inc. is to share the past with the present, in hopes for a better future. There are historical artifacts related to the building of the Iona area, but we also have a collection of stories of stalwart and brave people who beat the elements and made this one of Idaho’s beautiful and favorite places to live. We learn from those who came before us, to persevere, even when everything is stacked against, for the benefit of humankind in general. We are seeking funds from the public for the purchase of the historical artifact, the Bingham Stake Tithing House, located at 5293 Rockwood Ave., Iona, ID to be used as the Museum. Our regular hours are Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. or call for special tour arrangements.
