Beautiful lakes reside at Minnewaska State Park. Amazing trail that goes around the lakes. Great for picnics. Lots of great small and long hikes. Swimming as well!

Michelle and I like to take the bus in New Paltz (4 miles from the tiny house) to Port Authority (41st and 8th) to visit the city. Round trip around $43.50 (student discounts available). Taxi to the tiny house is $8 from New Paltz Taxi (845) 255-1550--they are connected to the bus station.
