Recently renovated Shed Bistro is always packed to the hilt and there's a reason for it. Great food and great service! I recommend making a reservation for the evenings.

Snow Patrols very own Mexican restaurant! Great menu, but tends to be busy, so definitely book a table (you can even do it online).

This is an amazing Vegetarian / Vegan restaurant in Belfast City Centre. However, don't be put off if you aren't Veggie or Vegan, their food is absolutely unreal and is frequented by many a hungry carnivore! You will not be disappointed! Most times you can drop in for a table, but if going at the weekend, I'd recommend you book ahead.

If you're looking for great quality Japanese food in a tradition setting, then Zen is your place to go. They have a great Sushi selection too, the best in Belfast I think. However, it can get a lot of hen parties. Still worth a visit though.

A great day out with plenty to see. Can be a little bit pricey if going as a family, but still worth the money.

If you're staying over a weekend, you should visit St Georges Market on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday morning. On Sundays you can expect lots of local food stalls, live music and unique craft stalls. My one recommendation that you MUST try is a Belfast Bap with everything on it from the 'Belfast Bap' stall. You can thank me later!

A great day out and only 90 mins drive from Belfast. The Walled City of Derry is a place steeped in Irish history, culture and nightlife. If you're stay at Halloween time, Derry hosts Ireland's largest Halloween Festival and is a must-see.

This is one of the most wonderful and historic sights to see in Northern Ireland when you are here. Wrap up if you're going during Autumn or Winter, it is a blustery and rugged coastline and can be extremely cold.
