Good Oyster Burgers on the back Patio! This is in Edison and the back patio is on the slough. It's about an hours paddle by Kayak ,if you can find the right waterway in, but worth it.

The quaint town of Edison is set between agricultural fields and the Samish Slough. It has about a dozen small business comprised mostly of restaurants and art galleries.The Edison Inn, Terramar Brewery and Longhorn Saloon have fun back patios.

La Conner is a small town along the Swinomish Channel with many small art galleries and shops to explore. It also has good restaurants and a brewery like Calico Cupboard and La Conner Brewery. The Tulip and Daffodil fields are nearby and can be enjoyed from approximately March (Daffodils) thru April(Tulips). Large flocks of Snow geese,Tundra Swans and Trumpeter Swans migrate to these same fields during the winter months(Approx. Late Oct.thru early late March)
