Also popularly known as the Besant Nagar Beach. It is much quieter during the weekdays, many restaurants and eateries not far from the beach, a long promenade, quiet walks in the mornings, the Besant Nagar Church is very close by. Asta Lakshmi temple is in walking distance from the beach. This place is about 5 to 6 kms from the apartment.

Express Avenue is a shopping mall, with many shops and restaurants. You will find almost everything that you might need for your stay. Check out, Big Bazzaar in the basement of this mall and it has many home needs.

Kanchipuram - Land of temples and Silk sarees. Dozens of ancient and historical temples and Silk saree weavers. You may need to do some research before you buy Sarees or go through a known contact. This town is about 2 hours drive from Chennai. You may experience lots of city traffic during the peak hours.
