Masters Week

Masters Week in Augusta, Georgia is the best time of the year - not only for Augusta, but anywhere in the world. It’s many of my guests top bucket list experiences. It seems anybody who is anybody is in town for the week. The National is now hosting the amazing Women’s Amateur that will continue to grow in popularity.

Food scene

Voted year in and year out one of the top restaurants in the area. Try their po boys and Cajun fries! They also have sushi that rivals any restaurants that specialize in sushi.

Locally farmed, high end southern cuisine. My mom’s go to meal is the wedge salad and mussels when they’re in season. My dad prefers the bone in pork chop. Can’t go wrong with anything, especially the specials.

Southern home cooking in Evans. When I’m in town I try to eat there once a week. Their vinegar based BBQ chicken is perfect every time. Their arrangements of southern style vegetables to choose from is hard to beat. Also try their sweet potato soufflé!

Outdoors

Get some exercise on the canal road that leads you all the way downtown. Rent a bike or kayak and enjoy the outdoors between the beautiful Savannah River and Augusta Canal. Bring a fishing pole and try to catch a striper or hybrid.
