This is the little hole in the wall restaurant that everyone always talks about! Order the butter chicken platter lunch special, you will not be disappointed. If you’re there for dinner, order the butter chicken platter, it’s not on the menu but it’s still Available after 3pm for an extra buck. Trust us!

Monica and Graham (Moni-Gram...get it?) Are putting out the best cup of coffee...period. They source and roast their own beans in house! The ever changing food menu is fantastic too! Aside from the great coffee and eats, they are just nice people!

Chef Steve is putting out some seriously delicious traditional Portuguese donuts and lunch fare. The Bifana Sandwich is nothing short of a garlicky religious experience. The fried chicken sandwich with Steve’s Portuguese twist is unlike any you’ve ever had. The breakfast sandwich is a chorizo and egg work of art. Everything on the menu is worth a try! WE LOVE THIS PLACE not just because of the food but also because Steve and Gabriella are two of the friendliest and most kind folks you’ll ever meet! If you don’t believe me, Check out their reviews online.

This isn’t a gourmet pizza, just a good honest pie that’s easy on the bank account. A medium pepperoni is just $6.99 and a large pepperoni slice is just 99 cents! This is always our go to pizza spot.

Sightseeing

The Grand River runs through the middle of downtown Cambridge’s Galt core. Amazing views from the observatory on the new foot bridge. If the Main Street bridge looks familiar it’s because it’s been featured on the TV shows The Handmaids Tale and in Designated Survivor.

The Cambridge Farmers Market runs Saturday mornings year round. Great vendors and lots to see, and eat! If the market looks familiar to you, you may have seen it on The Handmaids Tale or on Murdoch Mysteries. Make sure you stop by the church next door for an amazing apple dumpling swimming in sauce!

The old post office has been revitalized into an amazing multipurpose library with a coffee shop (Monigrams Coffee), a digital library, maker spaces and one of the best views of the grand River and the Main Street bridge. Some nights a video is projected onto the exterior of the historic building at dusk.
