A fun day trip heading south about 45mins drive. Tubac is an artists’ village located along the Santa Cruz riparian corridor. The Mexico City style food at Elvira’s is pricey but super delicious. A short drive further south on the Frontage road takes you to the historic Tumacacori Mission, which is super fun to explore and absolutely beautiful.
