There is a great little cafe in this museum on the village green.
Ditchling is where I grew up, its so pretty, planted right at the base of the downs and a 10 min walk across the fields or along the road. If you are into hiking you can go across the fields and straight up Ditchling Beacon to the top - if that sounds too exhausting there are less steep routes up!
