A rainforest in the city. This spot is not to be missed. But its less of a spot, and more like a cluster of spots. Beaches, forest trails, the Vancouver Aquarium, AMAZING city views. Stanley park has it all

Wreck Beach (Squamish: Ts’ats’lhm) is a popular clothing-optional beach located in Pacific Spirit Regional Park, which is in turn part of the University Endowment Lands just west of Vancouver. This is a "free expression area", allowing you to feel free to be naked, maybe even smoke something if you like. Great spot for sunset, and a swim.

A beautiful beach for sunsets in the summer. Also a good home base for an outdoor workout: run paths, workout on the rings and pullup bars, or hit the basketball courts. Also a great bbq spot

Your free alternative to Capilano Suspension bridge. There is a suspension bridge here too, along with many many miles of walking/running trails through the rain-forest. Great trail runs, and walks
