Originally built in 1915 as part of the Panama-Pacific Exhibition this one is the remaining one of ten palaces built. They were designed by Bernard Maybeck, who took his inspiration from Roman and Ancient Greek architecture in designing what was essentially a fictional ruin from another time- really beautiful!
