Less than 2 miles from my house is this awesome small brewery, that will satisfy the serious craft beer lover. Set in a business/industrial park, it is a "locals" spot where the friendly and warm small pub atmosphere welcomes the tourist as well . You may ask for a taste before you decide what you want to order. Everyone is sure to find something they will enjoy! Snacks are available for purchase but if you are really hungry, bring your own food, and/or get directions to the Taqueria Real, just a few feet thru the back fence and enjoy your beer with some great Mexican food to go. Well behaved children and dogs on leash are always welcome at Adobe Creek Brewing.

The "Sonoma-Marin SMART Area Rail Transit" allows you to get to major transit hubs and enjoy the scenery along the way. This is a great way to connect to the Golden Gate ferry terminal in Larkspur, where you can experience a fantastic trip across the SF Bay to San Francisco. Skip the hassle and expense of parking and driving!

What to pack
Pack layers!
No matter the season, you will find that the SF Bay Area has "micro climates". This means it can be a vastly different temperature in one town to the next, even when they are just over the hill a bit! Typically travelers are caught off guard by the very cold and damp fog which is an almost daily experience at some point in the day/night in San Francisco. South Marin is typically much cooler than North Marin too!
