What to pack
Johanna is in a beautiful rural/coastal/farming area of the Great Ocean road.
There are no shops in Johanna, We recommend you bring enough supplies for your stay as the closest for basic supplies is in Lavers Hill, a 7 minute drive away. Here you will find cafe/convenience store with basic groceries, petrol and take away food , bistro/ Pub and bottle shop.
For a bigger shop Apollo bay is a 30 minute drive away and here you will find supermarket, cafes, restaurants, variety of retail shops, Post office, Medical centre and banks.
Johanna Beach is a surf/fishing beach and not recommended for swimming.A day trip to Apollo Bay you will find lovely beaches for swimming. Don't forget your beach towels.
Johanna is a perfect base to explore all the attractions along the Great Ocean Road and The Otway region.
