Evergreen is a short 20 minute drive on hwy 73. There is a beautiful walk around the lake and you can follow walkway under bridge over to downtown. Paddle board rentals. Skating at the lake in the winter. Main Street is fun to walk. Little Bear is a historic saloon. Lots of good restaurants. A finish off loop would be to go down the canyon (hwy 74) to Morrison, loop around Red Rocks and then pick your route home.
