Drinks & Nightlife

Excellent bar. Great craft beer on tap and 30+ vintage 80s arcade games, with 80s prices -each game cost just a quarter to play! Nice and laid back during the week. Can get packed on weekend evenings.

A bar. With Skee-Ball. What more do you need to know? It's awesome, and on Tuesdays and Thursdays the Skee-ball machines are set to free-mode. AWESOME.

Food Scene

Great happy hour during the week (Good 3 dollar beers in NYC, really?). Less than a mile down the block from the apartment. Great spicy fried chicken. I suggest going for brunch on the weekend.

The best donut in NYC and possibly the world. Plan an extra 30-45 minutes in the morning 1 day and take a leisurely stroll to Dough. I recommend the Blood Orange and Chocolate Chipotle donuts. YUM!

The burger and Mac & Cheese are excellent. Great atmosphere. Just off the stop where the L & G trains transfer. After a long Saturday or Sunday in the city this is a great spot for a romantic dinner.

An Irish Pub that is an awesome place to grab a burger and a brew. This bar is in Clinton Hill. A great neighborhood near the Pratt Art/Design School. It's a nice walk from the house, about a mile.

Pizza. That Delivers. Don't go to Mike's Pizza. It's horrible. This place Rocco's has a classic NYC slice.
