Brighton is our favorite Ski Resort. This resort has the best snow (far better than Park City) and is also one of the cheapest resorts. If you find yourself night skiing/snowboarding, Brighton has the most well-lit terrain. Also a great place to go for some fantastic hiking trails.

This is our favorite hike in Utah. It is a pretty good hike though. 3 miles in and 3 miles out with a consistent climb the whole way. Try it in autumn... it will blow your mind!

Have kids but wanna get into the mountains? Try Lisa Falls. This is a short (.25 miles) and kid-friendly hike with a fun waterfall at the end. Pack some snacks and let the kids play in the pools at the base of the waterfall.

If you'd like to get to know the history of Salt Lake City or Mormonism, this is the spot to go. Beyond the historical element, the grounds are beautifully cared for. If you are visiting between Thanksgiving and New Year's Eve, you have to see the light display at Temple Square! It is amazing!

If you are looking for a nice restaurant, Franck's is the place to go. It isn't cheap, nor is it very kid-friendly, but the food here is pretty amazing - especially the appetizers. Try the tomato pie and the brussel sprouts. If you don't love them, I'll give you your money back!

Let's face it, Salt Lake isn't known for it's fresh fish, but if you have a hankering for some sushi, Itto will usually hit the spot without breaking the bank. Try the firebird... it's our favorite.

This is the best Shopping center in Utah. Fun atmosphere with a creek, water features, live fish, great shopping and food. The shopping center has a retractable roof that is open during good weather and closes in the winter and/or bad weather. Fun mall to visit even if you aren't interested in shopping.
