We took an afternoon dolphin tour on a Thursday and had a great experience. Our whole family learned a lot and had fun spotting dolphins and other wildlife. The unhurried pace and knowledgable staff made this tour one of the most memorable parts of our vacation. Stopping at an island to look for shells was a nice treat. We'll definitely visit again.

Shopping

Depending on the day of the week, there is always something to do at the Pavilion. Saturday mornings there’s the farmers market, breakfast at Flap Jack Johnnies, shop at Belks, Dollar Tree, Homegoods/Marshalls, Kirkland & Michaels to name a few. Stroll around the lake, lunch...SanDiegos, Gabbie’s, Red Robbin. A movie perhaps with dinner at Texas Roadhouse. Try to go when it’s cool because it can get a bit warm in the sun. It is worth taking a trip....have fun!!

Arts & Culture

This is a must stop for anyone who is visiting NSB. If you're at the Canal Street Farmers Market it's just down the street. The docents are knowledgeable and friendly. We enjoyed hearing about NSB and discussing the artifacts. Check out the T-shirts which are reasonably priced and make wonderfully special souvenirs.
