The Fat Family run a Sacramento Restaurant dynasty. Frank Fat's was award the James Beard award in 2013, one of 5 in the US in 2013. I don't like banana cream pie, but if you do, this is the place.

Cafe Bernardo has good food for a reasonable prices. There are 3 locations in the downtown area. This one is my favorite of the 3. The others are on 10th and K and 15th and R. Get the french toast.

Built in 1887 and modeled the cathedral after L'Eglise de la Sainte-Trinite in Paris. The Italian Renaissance cathdral was closed from 2003-2005 for a $34 M restoration. The results are stunning.
