This new restaurant is a must go for the foodies. It's slightly on the higher end but still very affordable compared to its likes in other major cities.
Great food and great cocktails. Try the Nicosia Sling - perfect summer cocktail.

This bookstore has a hidden garden area and daily home made food upstairs.
If lucky, there might be an exhibition running too.

Ghetto Cafe
32 Osmanpaşa CdGood food, fair prices, a chilled atmosphere.
Canteen Bistro
Tasty food, good price, sometime might be blessed with some local live music.
This is truely one of the most local places to experience a full Cypriot meze. Endless cold and hot mezze followed by barbecued meat for a ridiculous price. Last time I was there it was £10 without alcohol for set menu. And everything tastes delicious! You will enjoy a special meal with locals. Most older people who are the regulars.

Sightseeing
This is an old Ottoman Inn. It's hosting arts and local crafts shops. There is also a lovely restaurant there where you can try the local börek (pastry with fillings). My favourite is with Halloumi.

Avoid drinking from the tap.
The tap water in Cyprus is not drinkable. I've left a big bottle of drinking water in the kitchen. Please feel free to drink it...
