There are a number of other stations and U-Bahns and S-Bahns lines around too + numerous buses going to Kreuzberg, Friedrichshain and other parts of the city. But really, if you wanna do it like the locals when u r in Berlin, the best is to rent a bike for 10 euros per day, in 15-20 minutes u can anywhere + if it's further in Berlin u can take bikes in the U+S-Bahn and trams too. :)
