Getting around
Best to Download directions and check it against a map
Before you travel be sure of your route, GPS may NOT work up in the mountains. 4 wheel drive/snow tires etc... recommended for winter travelers.

Book before you go
before you head up the mountain, Groceries and alcohol
The town of Tynecastle will be where you can pick up groceries at Lowes Grocery store and ABC Liquors. As you travel closer to town there is a Food Lyon in Banner Elk
