Every second Sunday of the month, king street is blocked off from traffic allowing people to walk through the street with vendors and restaurants.
Getting around
Parking
College of Charleston Faculty lots are often available for free parking after hours, My favorite is the addlestone library parking lot, located on 50 Pitt street just 3 blocks from king st. Park here for free on weekends, just check the sign at the entrance to confirm times.
