Food scene

A great spot for a chilled out dining experience. Good food and service and will sometimes have a jazz band on Sunday evenings.

This place make great coffee and food! They also are a bit easier to get a takeaway from if you can’t get a park in the Main Street.

This creek is the South side of Sawtell. The headland here is awesome for sunset drinks and the creek itself is often a favourite to escape wind or enjoy safer swimming with kids.

This is a great place to relax by the water with kids. Dogs can be on a lead here and on the other side of the train bridge is a dog beach. Take all your water crafts or fishing gear and spend hours there. It cost $5 in coins to get in boom gate or alternatively park at the bottom of the headland and walk down under train bridge.

This place is a little slice of heaven and so is the drive to get there. Great on a hot day when the wind is blowing at the beach. We usually head back to Bellingen after for a coffee or beer.

Sightseeing

This headland is a beautiful walk and great for dogs. At Murray’s beach south of the headland dogs can walk on a lead and across the train line North of the headland is a dog beach. The cross is where you can park your car to access the dog beach.
