Tons of great things to do fo the whole family. Great beach, fairly easy parking, AMAZING views if GG bridge, and many other great sites to see. hang out, walk, go to Fort Point (under the bridge, watch surfers, Huge ships coming and going, etc.

You can hit Golden Gate park, the DeYoung Museum, and the Tea garden, Stowe lake, and just get out of this side of town. buses, Lyft, etc.

DONT get on at Powell Street, get a map and get on anywhere along the line. they will generally stop for you, and you do not need to wait in a two hour line.

Santa Cruise is a great way to drive from SF to Santa Cruz and capitola. Both great spots. Its a beach town with an amusement park for the kids, ad lots of natural history, University of California at Santa Cruz, the mystery house, Ol rdwood railroad, TONS of hiking, and again on the way take higway 1 and stop along the way. DONT miss Duarte's Tavern in Pescadero.
