Every now and then there are classical music concerts. Keep your eyes peeled for the announcements being hung just outside the main entrance. Don’t be discouraged by the three doors you have to go through before actually getting into the house. It’s worth it.

City advice

Getting around

Feet for the Old Town

It’s the easiest to have your walking boots ready if you’re planning to explore the old town and its vicinity. Cobbled streets are not that rare there. Otherwise, for more distant trips, it’s best to use public transport. Info about it can be found here: https://www.visittallinn.ee/eng/visitor/plan/getting-around/public-transport.
Don't miss

Art museum KUMU has always something to look at

The museum is located in the historic park Kadriorg which was created by the great tzar Peter I for his wife Catherine. It includes, by customs of that era, a countryside palace (Kadrioru loss) that is converted into a museum. You will find that the President’s official residence is located in the same area. Kadriorg, in general, has lots of fascinating architectural examples of wooden country houses, mainly from 19th century, that used to belong to the aristocracy of St. Petersburg. Tallinn was used for pleasure and leisure at the time. The park is vast, tranquil and spiritually rewarding.
