Getting around
Unfortunately no Uber on the island. Sooo...
Unfortunately no Uber on the island & we do have an influx of opportunistic taxis from the mainland who take advantage of unsuspecting tourists. Ask for a price before hopping in.
If you do need a taxi we recommend ‘Easy Taxi’s’ - you can just text Sasha (the owner) for a pickup - 022 612 670. He’s the most reasonable on Waiheke. Let Sasha know Gareth & Mandy highly recommended you and he should look after you.
