Such a beautiful beach in all seasons, never too busy, great little caves to explore. It’s a lovely walk around to Botany Bay either along the beach and over some rocks or along the cliff top when the tide is coming in (important to check).
It is best to park near to Botany Bay (lots of free parking there). There’s also a pub there with good food. As well as a great gastro pub with indoor play area overlooking kingsgate Bay.

Beautiful beach with vintage rides and Punch and Judy in the summer months. About a 25 minute easy walk from the cottage. Lots of great restaurants in the vicinity.

A little patch of beautiful woodland very close to the cottage. It’s lovely to walk around the woods then along the side of the field into the extensive historic churchyard. Lovely in all seasons.

Possibly my favourite cafe ever. Delicious food, beautiful views of Margate beach and really quirky. The inside upstairs has been converted to allow for tables and chairs. A fun place in all seasons!
