Unfortunatly now not operating on a regular basis in my opinion this is the most beautiful synagouge in Budapest with a magical oriental look.

Go no further if you're interested in the History of Hungary from its foundation to the end of the 20th century. The museum is located in a magnificient Classical style building surrounded by a park.

Currently the only kosher meat restaurant (there is a newly opened kosher grill bar next to Szoda in Wesselenyi and a dairy pizzeria few blocks down tho) in Budapest with good food but hefty prices.

Nice cafe and restaurant with live piano music most evening. The food is great and the selection includes lot of Hungarian (also Jewish-Hungarian) meals. Very friendly staff!

Hip restaurant with nice interior design and friendly staff. If you want to have excellent food but in a laid-back place this is where you should go. Summer they also have a garden few blocks up.

The usual place to go on a party night since they are open very late even on weekdays. The food isn't bad but don't expect anything authentic and despite the name they aren't too fast either.
