So close to the flat, a walk up Arthur's seat on a bright day is a great way to spend your afternoon. If you don't fancy going all the way up, take a walk along the crags or around Holyrood Park instead.

You'll see the meadows full of BBQ-ers on a sunny summer day, and there are always plenty of runners and dog walkers around too. The paths are lined with trees, it's a lovely quiet spot in the middle of a busy city. Listen out for buskers too!
