Very centrally located, good place to stay in Zamalek

Second time staying. Always made to feel very welcome. Great stuff

We really enjoyed our stay here. It is essentially a hotel with all 24h check in and daily cleaning, but the space was large like a small apartment. Everything was very clean. The view was spectacular and the neighborhood was fantastic. There's a medium sized supermarket 2 blocks away, lots of restaurants including fast food within a block, and very safe to walk around. I did not meet with Ahmed but he was always quickly responsive, and I would not hesitate to recommend his place.

The apartment is inside hotel. The view of the Nile is wonderful and the hotel staff is friendly and helpful. The beds are very comfortable and the washing machine was a great plus. The bathroom and balcony doors could use some renovation/repairing.

We were made to feel welcome both by the reception desk at the block of flats, and also by Ahmed, who rang to make sure everything was all right. The flat was as described, was comfortable, and the beds provided a good night's sleep. There was a helpful daily room service. The living room/kitchenette felt a little gloomy as there are no windows and no natural light, but the bedrooms are spacious, and both have access to the very pleasant balcony overlooking the Nile. The balcony has some very comfortable and elegant chairs and table. There are plenty of good restaurants and cafes in the area, and the Lebanese Kitchen next door is particularly good.

Immaculately clean flat with an extremely pleasant host whom goes out of her way to make the stay enjoyable and as comfortable as possible. Always willing to help with advice re: Cairo when out and about. The flat itself is of high quality, very modern, and the bathroom is amazing!

I already stayed in a lot of apartments in Cairo but I have to admit that this one of Samah is my favourite. Me and my boyfriend were the lucky ones and had the privilege to be Samah's first guests in this apartment. Samah is an awesome host. We could call her any time if there was a problem or if we had questions. We totally enjoyed the time of staying there. The kitchen is fully equipped - she also provided some spices, coffee, sugar, milk and a bottle of wine. All in all i totally recommend this apartment to everyone, who is planning a trip to Cairo, who wants to life i an awesome part of this city and who is looking for a comfortable, quiet and lovely apartment with a lot of top features (free Wifi, washing machine, iron, hair dryer, towels,...). comfortable, private and relatively quiet for Cairo! I would happily stay here again and definitely recommend it to anyone considering a trip to Cairo.

Great experience. Location: Al zmalek is the most attractive part in Cairo for me. It's safe, leafy street, a few steps from the best restaurants,supermarkets , bars , different types of cafes, nile, opera 10/10 Apartment: New , modern , clean, fully furnished and equipped ,good smell, I felt like my home. 10/10 Host: Nice host, immediately response 10/10 Value: 8/10 Note: It's a quite difficult to find parking as most areas in Cairo , and everything is in walking distance so u don't need to hire car . I really enjoyed and I will stay here every time I visit Cairo and I strongly recommend it for you.

Samah's place is everything you could ask for. It is in an excellent, central location with tons of shops and restaurants close by. Zamalek was the perfect neighbourhood to stay in. Samah was an extremely kind and helpful host. The place is clean and has everything you need. I would highly recommend staying at Samah's.

We had a fantastic time with Ash and his friends. To getting known to them made our whole 3 week stay in Egypt a very special one. Sunny in a calm street in Zamalek, close to Public Transport and local boutiques and restaurants. All this is very good. The apt needs a little improvement tough. Finally and considering that in this case you share the apt attention should be paid from the part of the owner regarding not leaving empty bottles or full ashtrays over night.

The room is big and the bed is comfortable. The apartment is really central and the area is really nice ! Karim and Ash are friendly guys, they give us some suggestion and help us ( expecially with some non-english speaker).

Totally recommended!! We didn't have the pleasure to meet Ash in person but he was very nice and helpulf, he explained us everything we needed to know before we arrive. Karim, the housemate and our host during our stay, is a really nice guy, flexible and easy going. He help us with everything we needed, show us around, invite us to go out with his friends and made our stay really pleasent, the best host you can have! We were so confortable that we ended up staying longer than planned and becoming friends with Karim. The room and the house are big and clean, with a terrace to enjoy the sun and have a nice morning tea. It's located in a really nice area with bars, restaurants and supermarkets at walking distance. 100% recomendded!

Ash is the best host I could ever imagine and the flat is in a very nice area full of every kind of shops, in the middle of Cairo, and with very nice neighbors. I feel very lucky to have found this place for my stay, and this person that is now my friend. Highly recommended, you will feel at home.

Loved staying with Ebrahim and his flatmate Amir. Their flat is close to a lot of restaurants.

I was the first BNB guest and Ebrahim made met me and I felt safe. It's a great place to crash and sleep. He is a friendly guy as his room mate, both have big personalities and they will help you if required, even though I am local to Egypt Cairo can be a headache but everything went smooth. The bed was soft, clean and comfortable and the room quiet. It's a great essential location close to the Nile and Hotel Flamenco, if you need to sort out passports or visas as you can walk to most Embassy or they are 20EGP in a taxi, I suggest Uber or Careem. There is a Metro Market to the side and various places to eat, bistro bars, and I feel the area is safe to wander around and the locals friendly with no hassle. This area of Cairo is also very green and its like one giant garden, if your into rare plants you will come across some gems. As there is so much to see on foot I recommend a GPRS mapping application so you don't get lost or walk in circles, there are cultural things around and something different around each corner. I will probably be back as I don't want to spend lots of money at some fancy hotel just to complete paperwork. If your looking at a no frills place at a great budget price this place is for you, certainly you could spend a few days here and look around and it won't drain your wallet.

I really liked staying here. Its an old hotel and it has a lot of character. The staff were all very nice, helpful and accommodating. The location in Zamalek is a good one and of course the view can't be beat.

Positive aspects: - Good area. - spacious apartment. Negatives: - horrendous Breakfast. - Inaccurate Directions to property. - Poor communication with the host.

Perhaps one of the best locations in Cairo. However, this is a hotel room in Cairo, so beware of the noise, pollution, and odors. Good spot for single travelers on a budget, but not advised for comfort, luxury, or romantic stays. Read Julien's review for a more detailed description.

booked a double room but were upgraded for no extra cost to a spacious apartment with a living room and a kitchen. The location is fantastic, and the apartment is surrounded with restaurants, cafes and bars. Would certainly book this listing again.

Good rapport between price and general quality. Ahmed was very fast with replies and info. Also the service by the hotel was always ready to my requests and i appreciated the kindness of the reception and the other workers. The position is good and with the taxi you can go easily everywhere. Only two notes: the bathroom was not clean as expected but i also understood that in Cairo there are different levels compared to the european countries. Another problem was to find the hotel. No evident signboard outside and i needed two taxi trips to find it. Anyway my recommendations to choose that place.
