We had a great time, and the setting is beautiful. The house itself is a bit too hot to stay in during the hottest days of summer, but the host provided ample fans to get the air circulating. The house is a piece of artwork, a really amazing collection of cans and paraphernalia that is a total trip to explore. But the building is quite musty and could use an industrial strength dehumidifier.

Our visit to the Brewhouse was just great!! We totally enjoyed exploring the house and loved that every time we walked in the door our eye was drawn to something new. There was a never ending source of conversation about the antiques and can collection! I can't begin to express how much my 30 something "kids" LOVED looking at the cans and leafing through the collection books and learning about can collecting! The house was much bigger than I expected and there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and have their own space. The location was perfect for our Hershey Park Labor Day weekend extravaganza, with the travel time to the park being under 30 minutes. The kitchen was well stocked and we had everything we needed to cook and serve a hearty Sunday morning breakfast. The outdoor space is great and we used the grill to cook dinner on Saturday night. Jeff was great to work with and he even called to check on us the day before we were scheduled to arrive at the house! His wife stopped by and checked in with us and it was great to meet her! We had everything we needed and really enjoyed our stay. The beds are no frills - basically mattresses on the floor, but plenty comfortable for a couple of nights. We had plenty of towels for everyone and really everything that we needed! I highly recommend the Brewhouse if you are looking for a place to get together with family and friends in a truly unique home in a very lovely little spot in the PA countryside that isn't too far away from Hershey and all that southern PA has to offer. The Brewhouse Mountain Eco-Inn is a beautiful and truly unique retreat, just minutes from the interstate highway. Nestled in the central Pennsylvania woods, the inn is part nature retreat, part beer can museum. The beer can portion is the passion of Jeff Lebo, who owns and operates the inn with his wife, Lauri. The walls are lined floor to ceiling with incredibly colorful and often whimsical beer cans. Space not covered in cans is decorated with beer-related advertising items and some country kitsch. It’s all done with a decorator’s eye and a wink of humor. The inn also features hardwood floors, high ceilings and a fire stove. It has a very warm and relaxing feel. There are two great rooms for entertaining, and one features a bar. The bedrooms are organized according to geographical origins of the beer cans in the room, and each has a measure of coordinating décor. It’s fun to explore this seemingly unending collection. Outside, the inn grounds are equally intriguing. We visited in late June, in time to see a huge variety of day lilies in bloom in a garden to the side of the house. The garden features a sitting area in front of a permanent stage, which seemed like a great location for a small wedding. An adjacent walkway behind the house was filled with red flowers, and we were treated to two hummingbirds whirring busily among them. We also enjoyed a walk on the path through the beautifully wooded lot. It was delightful to enjoy our morning coffee with the chirping of birds and the breeze in the tree tops. There’s lots to do in the area, as well. The Lebos have a flotilla of kayaks for use in local creeks, and the property sits practically in the shadow of Roundtop Mountain Resort (skiing in winter, ziplining and paintball in summer). A nearby state park offers hiking, fishing and swimming. The country roads seemed like a great place for a challenging bike ride, too. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway to a place like no other, the Brewhouse Mountain Eco-Inn is great choice.

Brewhouse is amazing! The pictures don't do it justice. Beautiful property, beautiful area, beautiful memories :). The place was clean, well kept, Jeff was super nice, and there was a lot of space for 8 of us. We went for a bachelorette weekend and could not be happier! The artifacts are amazing. We will definitely be back!

We had an awesome ski weekend here. It is the most unique place I've ever stayed in my entire life. It actually is larger than the pictures appear. Very spacious and roomy. If you like eclectic things, antiques, and the idea of a beer can collection like you've never seen in your life then this is the place to stay! It's off the beaten path and yet close to York Harrisburg Hershey and Ski Roundtop. 11 of us stayed here one weekend and some went skiing while the others went on a microbrew tour of York. We all had the best time. The fireplace was awesome and plenty warm which was appreciated since the temperatures were in the negative numbers! Lori was kind enough to bring us extra blankets when we requested because we thought we would need them but we actually were plenty warm. The huge party room upstairs is phenomenal and the central area downstairs with the fireplace was a great hang out. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need and we really can't say enough good things about this place. One drawback could be the fact that it only has 2 bathrooms but we actually had no problem dealing with this with our group. Our group visited Troegs in Hershey and then we also toured York and went to Mudhook Brewing, Holy Hound taproom and Liquid Hero brewing. All within walking distance of each other. We wanted to get to we wanted to get to Crystal Ball brewing ball brewing but just didn't have time. Walking around the house and looking at all of the beer paraphernalia antiques and cans was the most interesting thing and it was almost like living inside of an I Spy book for the weekend! Since it was so cold we did not get to explore outside of the house. Lori made suggestions for places to do take out and Rock It pizza was good. It would be really cool if the pinball machine upstairs worked but I imagine it's just part of the eclectic decor and we didn't expect the pinball machine so there is no problem with that. I could go on and on! One of the bedrooms is on the way to the kitchen therefore it is not 100% private but they are in a hallway leading to the area so we were able to make do and it was not a problem for our group. Others may find that is something they need to consider with a 5th bedroom. Also be aware since it is similar to an eclectic log home like any older home it is plenty of character but also plenty of pops and creaks when the furnace is running and the downstairs bedroom near the furnace is the only one that hears these noises. The Brewhouse Mountain Eco-Inn was amazing. The hosts, Jeff and Laurie, were perfect. They were very accommodating for a large group. They prepared the house for us, providing everything, including tourist information. The house was so cool we didn't want to leave. It was convenient to Ski Roundtop, Harrisburg, restaurants, and convenient stores. We definitely recommend staying here, and will hopefully get a chance to visit again.

Jeff and his wife are so nice. They live next to the building. If we have any problem, they can come to the building and solve it. We really like their can collection. We hope we can come here again.

Michael answered our questions prior to the visit. The house was clean, cool with the AC, and ready when we arrived. Michael greeted us after our arrival and made sure we had everything we needed. We enjoyed the stay.

Property was exactly how it was described. Clean and spacious, great views, good array of kitchen utensils etc. Really felt like home away from home. Very convenient to Roundtop ski resort. Michael is very friendly and accommodating.

Mike has a wonderful place in Dover. The house was lovely. Quite large and also very suitable for a family with young children (there are no stairs). We enjoyed our stay in Dover quite much. We especially loved walking in the Gifford Pinchot state park which is only a 15 minute drive from the house. The horses in the backyard were also a favourite of our kids.

Michael was very helpful and pleasant in our interactions with him. We had absolutely no problems or concerns with the check in. The home is very clean and comfortable, and the grounds are beautiful. There are many hiking trails on the property that we enjoyed, and horses to watch out the back. We had no issues whatever, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Fine Art House!

Our family consisting of three adults and two kids, (3yr old and a 2yr old), enjoyed a weeks stay at Michael's house. We used it as a central location to tour central PA, including Hershey Park, Lancaster, Gettysburg, a trip to Washington DC. It was very quiet and my kids loved the friendly horses in the back yard. Mike greeted us at the beginning of our stay but was traveling out of state and it was very nice to meet him. He was quick to respond to any questions we had. It is a perfect place to stay if you are traveling with young kids, very safe and plenty of play space in the living room and in the front yard. Thank you very much for everything.

The house was welcoming and wonderful. It was safe for my children to play outside, to enjoy the animals on the property. They loved Frank the cat, he almost got snuck into a suitcase to come home with us. We were a party of 8, and the house accommodated our needs nicely. It was a great introduction to airbnb.

If you are looking for a peaceful place away from the 'concrete jungle' this is it. A great location that is adjacent to York (for restaurants & sundry supplies), but also with easy access to Lancaster, Harrisburg, Hershey, Gettysburg, etc.. Perfect for a family wishing to spend a week exploring both the historical landmarks and the beautiful Amish countryside. What an absolutely wonderful area. Our host, Mike, was a great guy – he was gracious, amicable, and very accommodating. He offered us the perfect blend of helpfulness, yet he also was very respectful of our privacy. We couldn't possibly ask for anything more in a host. A+ all the way. The house is exactly as described, and once we were settled in, it really felt just like home. Mike's home is decorated with wonderful artwork and photography created by both he and his wife. All the basic kitchen and bath supplies are provided, and there are plenty of soft & fluffy towels. We were grateful to have access to the (excellent & new) washer and dryer, as well as the outdoor barbeque. If I were to ever pass through this area again in the future, I would absolutely stay at Mikes place again.

Tim was friendly and super responsive. We got in a little after check-in closed, and they made it all painless. Breakfast both mornings we were there was warm and delicious, with protein, pastries, fresh fruit, and plenty of coffee.

Tim and Susan were fantastic! The place was larger than expected. The grounds were groomed beautifully. The pool was a nice touch and my daughter really enjoyed it. We also made a special request for breakfast and they did all possible to grant our request. We would definitely stay there again and recommend to all!

Vilma is a gracious host. Her children were super respectful and quiet. I hardly ever knew anyone was there. The whole family was welcoming and Vilma was very flexible on evening curfew.

Vilma was an excellent host that made us feel very welcome from the start. The bedroom is spacious and the bed is very comfortable. She supplied us with everything we need in the bathroom plus a lot of choice for breakfast etc. The area is very peaceful and handy to a lot of the area's attractions. Bear in mind that although it is not mentioned in the listing, that she has two kids, one is 8 and one 15 months. They are delightful, well mannered children however and for the time we were there we didn't hear a peep out of them. Overall we had a great stay. Thanks Vilma!

We were looking for a place that had pets since we wanted to take our small dog with us. We found a very clean house, and our room was neat and clean. It was equipped with fresh towels and different toiletries, as well as some nice chocolate snacks. The neighborhood itself was quite and safe. We stayed for the night and left late morning, after enjoying a simple breakfast. We were looking for a nice and inexpensive weekend outside of the city, and Vilma's house was the perfect beginning to it!

This is such an interesting place to stay! We were only there for a short time overnight on a road trip, so we weren't able to fully soak it in, but Jeff and his wife were incredibly communicative and helpful with our arrival. I would definitely suggest staying here!

On our holidays we enjoy seeking out unusual places to stay. Brewhouse Mountain is probably the most unique and memorable place we have ever stayed at. Our host Jeff who lives next door, has accumulated an amazing collection of beer cans and associated artefacts that really have to be seen to be believed! Jeff obviously enjoys his hobby (or is it a full time job?) and he was happy to take time to show us around and answer my many questions. The Lodge is fully kitted out for a family holiday and whilst it seemed a little like staying in a living museum, it was really comfortable. The grounds and surrounding area are very pleasant. Our stay was comfortable and very cozy. We did not actually meet Shirley. However, Kris her innkeeper was fabulous and quite accommodating. Kris greeted us and provided an excellent breakfast the following morning. I highly recommend this hidden gem within the Hersheypark area. Thanks Kris for everything.

The house was Fascinating. The room and facilities were spotless. The area was so quiet, however we had the house to ourselves, so not sure what it would be like if others were staying. Not a lot of facilities in the surrounding area, (if you don't bring your own food) but as everyone woild probably have a car, it wasn't difficult to find somewhere close by to have something to eat.

This is a beautiful place in a warm and friendly setting. Susan and Tim are wonderful hosts and greeted us when we arrived. The Country Room is beautiful with plush towels, comfortable bed, and deck. We will stay again when we visit E-Town. Highly recommended!

Great room. Good breakfast. However, it was kind of awkward for the check-in process. When I came to the place, the inn keeper was not there. She left the key in the envelope. But there are two houses which are very confusing at the beginning to figure out which house is the one for us.
