川辺の一軒宿 Togu tsubakiyama

It is a renovated, room-only, private house surrounded by trees, located on a stone wall where rivers converge. There are no buildings in sight, and you can enjoy the sound of the river, the sound of birds, and a sense of unity with nature. The water is spring water (water quality has been inspected). Depending on the season, people come and go on the river next to the inn to play in the river and go to Kappa Falls. If the weather is good, you can play in the river, BBQ with the ingredients you bring, You can also enjoy a fire. (Please be careful when handling fire.) When it rains, you can enjoy the ingredients you brought over the charcoal fire in the Irori fireplace in the room, or cook while listening to the sound of the river, as we also provide cooking utensils, a range, and dishes. If you go up the promenade along the river, there is also "Kappa Falls" about 150 meters away. Please prepare food and beverages for dinner, etc. before check-in. It takes 20 minutes by car to the supermarket. The road is unpaved and narrow 400 m before the old house, so it is difficult to find, If you come to "Camu Tsubakiyama", we will guide you.

It is located in a summer resort villa area at an altitude of 900 m. There is only one group per day, so you can enjoy your time without worrying about your children. Enjoy the view from the cottage overlooking the Kuju mountain range, the sounds of various birds, and the stars and moonlight sparkling in the night sky. You can easily experience villa life. This Villa does not provide meals or ingredients. There are few places nearby where you can eat out at night, so you can cook your own meals. The kitchen is equipped with cooking appliances, utensils, dishes, etc. There are also several hot springs 10 minutes away by car. * BBQ in the garden from late April to early October.The cold is strictly not recommended at other times.The furnace in the garden is free to use.We can provide a complete BBQ kit (charcoal, grill grate, etc.) for ¥2,500.Bring your own free of charge.Please bring your own groceries. Not in rainy weather due to lack of roof. Yakiniku in the room is possible, but a special cleaning fee of ￥2000 will be charged separately.We will prepare the yakiniku plate as soon as you request it.

160-year-old renovated kominka house. 2300 m² site, 170 m² building.

We renovated a 160-year-old traditional house in 2023. The total site is 700 tsubo (2300 m ²), and the building is 170 m ², making it very spacious. While it is an 8-minute drive to Kumamoto Castle, it is a cottage where you can relax and unwind away from the hustle and bustle. The garden is full of trees and flowers, including a large camphor tree that has been there for over 160 years, black pines, Japanese maples, and bamboo forests, so you can enjoy the trees and flowers in all seasons. The host lives in the adjacent building, so you can feel at home. Take a big, deep breath and refresh yourself from the heart. ●Here’s what you need to know · There are many mosquitoes and insects because there is a garden with many trees. If you don't like insects, it may be difficult to enjoy. The facility is located in a very quiet residential area. Please refrain from having loud conversations in the garden or on the deck after 8 pm.
