  • We had the most amazing time at Angel Rock Ranch! Paula was an incredible host, so welcoming, helpful and we are more than happy we stayed at her place and got to know her! Look out for the hummingsbirds on the terrace, they are beautiful. It is fast 20 minutes from the national park entrance and so calm amd private at the same time. Perfekt spot! Thanks for everything! We highly recommend staying with Paula and her husband!

  • Great place to stay! Right below Sequioa N.P which you can spent lesser time to travel up and down from the park.

  • At Paula, we liked everything. Very good location: 15 km from the house, the entrance immediately to 2 parks - Kings Canyon and Seqoia park. From this point you can drive and see the whole Seqoia park and leave it through Three Rivers. A very picturesque view from the house, and in the courtyard in front of the house you can have breakfast with the painting birds of the hummingbird, which Paula is caring for. In this place you feel alone with nature, a real American outback. At the same time, very good living conditions and the generous hospitality of Paula. We highly recommend it, but ourselves, if we are in these parts, we will stop only at Paula.

  • Warm and cozy ranch less than an hour from Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. Loved the banana bread she had waiting for us! We hope Paula's place is available next time we head to those parks.

  • What you see and read on airbnb about paula’s place makes you think “hmm sounds good”.... the reality is even better / more surprising ! Perfect after a long day hiking in the nearby park(s) 👍

Our home is older in a nice, well established neighborhood. We are 5 minutes away from the freeway leading to The Sequoia National Park. We are a Dutch family who have traveled the world, lived in many countries such as Costa Rica and West Africa. We cook daily and love to share what we have including interesting stories with visitors but if you would prefer to keep to yourself we will respect that. Welcome to our home!
Staying at Oma's house you can expect your basic lodging needs to be met. You will have a soft clean bed to rest your head. A safe quiet environment to relax and enjoy your travels.
Our neighborhood is a rural subdivision surrounded by bridal paths and majestic 150 year-old oak trees. We are a short walk to the St. Johns River where you can wade up to your waste in cold mountain snowmelt. The Kaweah Oaks preserve is a short 5 minute drive.
  • Great and safe place to stay . Genuine people .

    Aniket2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • This is a great place to stay before you hit the national parks. The hosts are friendly and the rooms are clean and there is plenty of parking available. There are also plenty of places to grab a bite to eat nearby.

    Abraham2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Great hosts! They even shared their meal with me and they were all very nice.

  • I enjoyed staying here very much. I really felt at home and like part of the family when I was there. The family went above and beyond to make my stay an amazing one. The area was nice for going on walks, and it was also quiet and peaceful as well, I slept really good here. I highly recommend staying here.

    Tim2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • If you’re coming through Sequoia or Visalia, staying at Johanna and Cyanne’s place is an absolute must! They will go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and belong in their family. A real home away from home. Can’t thank them enough!

We are conveniently located about 5 minutes off of Hwy 180. Very easy drive up the hill from Fresno. We are also about one hour from the entrance to Sequioa/Kings Canyon Park. It is a quiet rural area of mostly 5 acre parcels (like ours) and also some larger ranch properties. Please do check the map before you book. It will show pretty close where we are. If this is not the location you would like you might be happier booking somewhere else. Thank you for checking out our place .
  • Gorgeous property with a hot tub. So quiet and peaceful. The room is stylish and homey with many thoughtful touches. Love the bedding and adorable dogs. Highly recommend! Important to note the toilet + sink is on another part of the property. A very short distance but may not be for everyone. I was fine with it. Shower is in the main house, have to use between 9am-9pm which was also fine for me.

  • Kirk and Cyndi are great hosts, they are super welcoming. Their guest house is very cozy, it feels like a cocoon. They offered us breakfast which was super good. Their 2 dogs Sam and Gretchen are adorable. And the place is at the top with an incredible view. In short, if you pass in the area do not hesitate to sleep with them, it's perfect.

  • 100% would recommend to anyone visiting Sequoia National Park or King's Canyon National Park

    Drew2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • My stay Kirk and Cyndi's place was much more than what I expected. Little touches here and there including breakfast, hot-tub access( not included ;) ) made the experience that much greater. Sam and Gretchen were great hosts as well! I wish I could have stayed longer, thanks again.

    Tomas2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • A great little space Cyndi and Kirk are very hospitable and bring breakfast in the morning! Clean and cozy.

    Hannah2020-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • Kirk and Cyndi are the most accommodating hosts that we have ever had. Their home is nearby Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park, which has incredible views and nature. They are very kind people that gave us great tips for our adventure in Sequoia. They were also nice enough to deliver a delicious, fresh breakfast every morning. The fresh baked muffins were some of our favorites. Their two pups, Samson and Gretchen were so sweet and we really enjoyed having them around. The space itself is a large area on the countryside with lots of nature and things to do. We never got bored and we are planning to stay here again soon. My favorite part was watching stars in the hot tub and grilling burgers on the grill! I would recommend anyone to stay here! Thank you again to the incredible hosts.

    Jordan2019-12-20T00:00:00Z
  • Kirk and Cyndi’s place is the perfect hidden gem! Great hospitality, great location, and the friendliest dogs to greet you!

March is the most beautiful month for wildflowers. Because of the coronovirus the Parks are very quiet. No waiting at the gate and lots of parking. Inviting quiet cabin on the way to the Mineral King section of Sequoia National Park, and 4 miles from the main entrance to Sequoia National Park. The dwelling and garden overlook the Great Western Divide, wildlife, and horses. A/C & central heat. There's a great place to feed, water and rest your horses if you’re traveling with them, too.
The views are spectacular. Moro Rock, Alta Peak, Great Western Divide, Eagle Rock and more. The views are best seen while walking or driving around the property Horses welcome. As a matter of fact if you peek down the hill from the parking area you'll find the rescue horses that live here and maybe even some of the rescue dogs that are living out their dog dreams here on the ranch as well.
This Mineral King property sits overlooking the Great Western Divide amongst the manzanita, and the majestic oaks. It's located 5 miles from the Sequoia National Park gate, and about 20 miles from Mineral King.
  • Renee is an amazing host. We did not stay at the air b and b due to COVID-19 but she was very helpful and responsive when we had to fly back to the UK early and we will be visiting VERY VERY soon

    Shaun2020-03-20T00:00:00Z
  • Renee’s cabin is the kind of place you want to keep it secret. It’s a dreamy place in a breathtaking area, kind of it was a dilemma to decide if we wanted to stay inside or going outside. Renee is thoughtful and we really felt at home away from home. Thank you again Renee, it was one of our best journey by far.

    Elisa2020-03-18T00:00:00Z
  • I have never ever had a harder time leaving a rental behind. No photos could ever do this gem the justice it deserves. Renee’s property is healing on so many different levels, it instantly feels like home. And Renee herself is the most kind-hearted host I’ve ever had. I will DEFINITELY be returning and until then will be constantly dreaming of this breathtaking haven.

    Devany2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Renee is a great host! Her home is sparkling clean with such thoughtful touches. I’ve already told several friends about her home and would absolutely stay there again.

    Deanna2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • Renee's cottage is spectacular. Spotless, incredibly well appointed, extremely comfortable, and the location on Mineral King Road is just indescribable...very close to Sequoia but the Mineral King area itself is even better. I can't recommend this place highly enough.

    James2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Very cozy space, peaceful, quiet, clean, and beautiful. Stocked with plenty of snacks and fast breakfast options. Amazing place to getaway and relax. Host was wonderful as well, would love to stay again.

    Mario2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Highly recommend Renee's beautiful, cozy cabin! Was a great place to stay and would definitely return. Renee was a very welcoming host. It's conveniently located close to Sequoia National Park and very comfortable.

    James2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • Renee was super friendly and quick to respond with any questions. The guesthouse was exactly as shown in the pictures. The fresh flowers were also a nice touch to the rooms! The guesthouse was homey with all the amenities (e.g. heater, two shower heads, comfy bed) but also felt secluded out in the wilderness with the wide windows to the mountains. I highly recommend the place!

  • Great place to stay close Sequoia Mountains...the place was very quiet, large and close to everything. Would really recommend to anyone who's is visiting Sequoia...

    Ramon2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Great space. Maria and Ernesto stay in the unit above the one listed, but they left my friend and I alone unless we contacted them which was great. They stocked the place with all the kitchen necessities, water, coffee, and snacks which was a great touch. Most importantly, the space was quite large with a large living room, bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom. And the place is ~10 minutes from Sequoia which is super convenient. Highly recommend staying here if you are going to Sequoia!

    David2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • This home is the hidden gem of Sequoia. To start the place is beautiful, located only 6 miles away from the Sequoia national forest gates, 2 minutes away from the gas station (note there are no other gas stations for another 100 miles into the forest), its centrally located near markets, restaurants, close to the river, and surrounded by wildlife. The parking is on a slope see photos. The host was prompt to reply and provided guidance on how to navigate through town. Maria Teresa & Ernesto added some really nice touches to their place to make it feel like home. The rental is a lower level unit with folks that live in the upper part of the property. The place is not the Hilton or Marriott Hotel but its an upgrade from a cabin and much nicer than a common space shared home. It's private, secluded and safe which as a young family we appreciate. While traveling from the forest to the rental we saw bucks, young deer, bats, squirrels, falcons, blue Jays, plenty of woodpeckers and played in the snow. The Sequoia forest was one of the most amazing trips we have ever made; we have been to the Golden Gate Bridge, Chichen Itza Pyramids, and stood at the feet of the Christ Redeemer in Brazil: In our opinion the Giant Forest is equally Majestic. Thanks to these great host we have now experience something great that my family will remember forever. This rental really brought us closer to nature. Birds singing in the mornings were our alarm and in the evenings the sounds of crickets and frogs serenaded us to bed it was truly a beautiful experience to stay at this rental. For the folks that are considering a rental near the forest this place is the right location for you. If we could give the host ten stars we would. This is our rental of choice for future trips to Sequoia we highly recommend this rental to anyone looking to rent in the area.

Five miles from Sequoia/Kings Canyon Nation Park this private Suite with king sized bed also has a fold out loveseat for two young children. Living room ,dinning room and kitchen and wood burning stove with large outside deck with BBQ. Host lives in another house across the courtyard. Once in Three Rivers be sure to turn left on North Fork Drv and then Right on Kaweah River DRV and follow to Washburn Drv. GPS will send you to Dinely Drv that is a lot farther and the rood is not as good.
This house was built by an artist and every where you look are beautiful cut glass windows. You can lay in bed with a skylight above. Sit on the deck as the many different birds in their natural habitat.

  • A perfect destination for a quiet and peaceful getaway! We spent time exploring nature and hiking in the surrounding areas near Sequoia and also enjoyed spending time at the airbnb playing games! Very roomy and welcoming space with many small personal touches! Kurt and Susan were great and very quick to respond to any questions. Will be coming back one day hopefully!

    Kayla2020-03-22T00:00:00Z
  • Kurt and Susan are super nice, the spot is better than advertised, and they are 8 minutes from stores/the town of three rivers. You won’t regret a trip to the sequoia forest. Absolutely gorgeous area.

We are about 24 miles, which takes about 35-40 minutes to Kings Canyon Park and Sequoia National Park. (The Giant Forest). Yosemite Park is about 2 hours away. And the coast is 2 hours away.
We are in a lane that dead ends, only those who live in our lane drive through here. It is very quiet and everywhere you turn there is a scenic view. We also have an amazing fence across the street our neighbor has created, we have people come from all over California to see it.
Our neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful.
  • The house is perfect. Really nice experience. Outside was quiet and nice, fresh air. We loved stay there. Very gentle hostess. Many details to feel at home. Very clean spaces and useful stuff.

    Valeria2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • Had a great time at the Airbnb! We had plenty of space for 6 people! Thank you for the extra beds. Visited the neighbor’s fence art work at your recommendation which was super cool. :) The kitchen was well equipped for having a small breakfast. The living room and dining area was very spacious.

  • Amazing view, cute house & nice amenities. We arrived late but enjoyed using this place to rest our heads, felt like home.

    Cerena2019-12-28T00:00:00Z
  • We highly recommend this place! You won't be dissapointed.

    Patrick2019-12-15T00:00:00Z
  • Very clean and well equipped home. There was more than enough kitchen appliances and basic kitchen spices so if you want anything special for your meals then bring your own. There is a small general store not too far from the house but would recommend bringing all food and snacks with you. We picked up our groceries in Visalia and picked up gallon waters from the general store as there is no filtered water in the house. Not sure if drinking from tap is ok or not but we just picked up water and was no big deal at all. Note: WiFi was a bit slow so I would recommend downloading any movies or shows you want your kids to watch on any devices. We were unable to stream which was not a big deal at all for us but worth a note. They did have dvds and we were able to throw on Ice Age for the kids one night. We arrived early and were greeted by Lupe who was still cleaning the house and I must say she really does care about the cleanliness of the house and is so accommodating. I appreciated meeting her and her husband greeted us on our way out. Super nice and friendly couple. Would definitely recommend staying here but if traveling in winter the road to Sequoia through Kings Canyon was closed so we were only able to make it up to Kings Canyon. Always carry chains if driving in the snow we were rear ended coming down by an SUV who did not have chains and the roads coming down the mountain were icy. We had 4x4 and still needed chains so please be prepared. Luckily we are all ok and only our tail light got damaged. Thanks again Lupe and Clayton we had a wonderful Thanksgiving in your cozy home.

  • If you want serenity in nature, with amazing views from their comfy deck, this is the perfect spot... only a few hours from buzzing Los Angeles. Thank you for sharing your Chalet!

    Danixa2020-03-22T00:00:00Z
  • I would recommend the chalet to anyone visiting sequoia! It is very clean and cozy. The outside deck was definitely the highlight of the chalet as it offers beautiful scenery. I can honestly say that Pamela was a great host! I would definitely stay here again in the future.

    Miguel2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • The chalet ranks within my top two Airbnb stays ever. I travel 50% of my time, all over the world, and this a favorite stay. I highly recommend making this one of your life experiences, I know I’ll be returning soon.

    Erin2020-02-12T00:00:00Z
  • Great cabin, close to the park entrance. Kitchen is very well stocked, all the pots/pans, spices, utensils you need. The grill was great, as were the outdoor and indoor fireplaces. Comfortable interior, with cozy couch. Only slight downside is that the big porch is right above the busy main road, so you hear traffic all the time. Host left lots of great local info in a binder, which was very helpful. Overall a lovely stay, and would come back!

    Juliet2020-02-04T00:00:00Z
  • This place is so cosy and has absolutely everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Great location for getting in and out of Seqouia National Park and the deck is just stunning. Could have stayed out there for hours. Would definitely stay again.

    Sarah2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • This place is perfect for visiting Sequoia and just for relaxing surrounded by beautiful nature. The chalet has everything you may need during your stay, the view is breathtaking. Highly recommended!

  • We wanted to get away to Sequoia for Xmas and chose the chateau as our destination. We had a bit of confusion regarding the entry code, but the owner, Kay, quickly assisted and fixed the problem. If you are lucky enough to stay there while Kay is home, you must meet her. She is an amazing woman! The place itself is exactly as advertised and I can't believe there is a better location for going to Sequoia as far as proximity and accommodations. It was very clean, well stocked, and the back patio is a fantastic place to relax and enjoy the fire pit after a long day hiking. Kay truly made our Xmas special and we would absolutely recommend her chateau to anyone wanting to explore the Three Rivers area.

  • Half by mistake, we got to be the first Airbnb guests hosted by “Shreddy” the ex-pro hockey player and skateboarder in his hidden house in squaw valley. What luck! Getting there was a little strenuous after a long windy drive in the dark but we were immediately blown away when we were welcomed by a star littered sky, a happy fire pit, and shreddy himself who’s as happy to see us as we were relieved to find him. We marveled at his Hollywood and family stories by the fire and under the stars. From him we also got a sense of a strong small town community. We went to a nearby restaurant for dinner at shreddy’s recommendation but was told the kitchen was already closed. Seeing us two out of towners cold and starving somehow the kitchen changed their mind and miraculously whipped up the best pork chops I have had in a while. Life savers. What’s the chance your Airbnb host is also the first person to teach you skateboard? I hope we have made a lasting friend that we could count on returning to.

The town is amazing, I definitely recommend staying here and visit the Coffee Co. And the River View restuarant and Lounge. I really enjoyed my stay. And if you like hiking, about 10min out there's Salt Creek BLM. Great place for 2 people or two couples.

The 400 square foot cabin sits next to the main house overlooking 4.7 acres. The river runs through the back of the property nine months out of the year. There is river access if you want to cool off. The main house and cabin share a large back deck. The cabin has its own parking and entrance. It is equipped with everything except a stove; however there is a microwave and hot plate, if you wish to cook. The property is 8 miles from the Sequoia Ranger station and 25 miles from the top.
Fresh eggs are available from our chickens.
The cabin is on the way to the Sequoia National Forest

    Manon2020-04-30T00:00:00Z
  • What an AMAZING experience!!! Jennifer was very accommodating and friendly! She made sure we had everything we needed & even let us check in early ! The first night we stayed they included us as if we were part of the family , we fished in their well stocked pond with them and their neighbor friends. Jennifer and her family welcomed us but, also gave us our privacy and let us know it was up to us how much we interacted. The place is magical and unique, we look foreword to going back!

  • The bunkhouse is the perfect getaway. It's located on a beautiful, peaceful ranch surrounded by lush green fields. The bunkhouse itself is cozy and has everything you need to hang out, prepare meals, and relax for a few days. And Jennifer is a great host and very responsive. Overall, had a wonderful time.

  • We had a great time watching all the animals and fishing on this property! It was exactly as described, very clean, and Jennifer was great! We will be back!

    Amanda2020-03-29T00:00:00Z
  • The bunkhouse was more than expected. Not only was the comfy bunk spotless clean, we were also greeted with the warmest welcome. We were in contact with the host, Jennifer, throughout the experience for everything we needed. Although the Airbnb had no service for at&t carriers, the host had WiFi available for guests and there was a lot to do without cell reception. Jennifer knows how to host an Airbnb!

    Adam2020-03-28T00:00:00Z
  • Jennifer was the best hostess! Her barn escape was everything I excepted and more! I just had my 30th Birthday this last few days so I felt honored and blessed to be in such a gorgeous little escape for such a special occasion with my partner! My first time ever using or being an AIRbnb guest i felt she couldn’t have been a better host and I hope I was an equally fantastic a guest! I would recommend this beautiful escape to all of my friends and family!

You will feel right at home in our darling cabins! Over the top linens with allergen/mite covers. Roomy shower shampoo and body wash available. Oh, did I mention clean? 👍🏻 and *** I want my guests to be aware of the fact that during this time we are going above and beyond our regular HIGH standard of disinfecting and cleaning!
We are on two acres and they are yours to explore. We are in a mountainous area with different terrain, and who knows what you may come upon. I have seen wild turkeys, quail, lizards, squirrels etc., we do maintain a pest service however, as my family tells me “you cannot conquer nature” 🤦🏻‍♀️ In the front of our cabins is our coffeehouse where we serve espresso coffee drinks hot, blended or iced, smoothies, Italian sodas, we make all of our bagels, scones, cookies etc. on site. Our coffeehouse hours are 8-2 Friday - Monday, with your nights stay (with the exception of Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights in this case I will leave goodies in your cabin) you receive a coffee and a baked good. Mimi :)
Within 16 minutes to the entrance to Kings Canyon/Sequoia NP big stump entrance. 20 minutes to the General Grant tree and village.
  • A wonderful oasis in the foothills. Wild turkeys, quail, deer, Canadian geese, coffee, and bangles 😎

  • We loved this place! The pictures don’t do it justice. The location is great if you’re traveling to Kings Canyon. It is very clean and had just what we needed for our one night stay. As we arrived we received some delicious cookies. We also enjoyed our complimentary coffee and baked good from the coffee house a few feet away. The scones are amazing! We look forward to staying here again the next time we drive north.

  • Very cool place. I came to get some much needed time for deep study and reflection. The cabin and coffee shop combo was a unique experience. The cabin was very comfortable and the coffee shop provided a friendly and comfortable atmosphere. Also the pastries and coffee were very good. I’ll be back.

    Logan2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • Mimi’s place was such a cute cozy quiet get away! Great for a weekend away from the city and super close to the beautiful Sequoia-Kings park. Be ready for a semi service area and don’t get mixed up with the restaurant timings or you will starve! Lol. Overall a great trip and we will definitely be coming back here!

    Tyler2019-12-30T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage was perfect for the stay, the area is beautiful and the coffee shop being so close was amazing. I heard they bake everything there and you can tell - highly advise the maple scone and any of their fresh bagels! Can’t wait to stay again.

    Nick2019-12-22T00:00:00Z
  • This little cottage is such a gem at the foot of the National Park Entrance. Mimi has thought of everything you could need or want in an absolutely adorable cottage. Her little tasteful touches are everywhere. You can feel the love that went into updating these historic cabins. The best coffee and pastries start your day off on a sweet note. So glad we got to meet Mimi on our way out to the park. You will not be disappointed!

    Bruce And Carla2019-11-02T00:00:00Z
  • Very cozy cottage to spend a night or two. Spent the late afternoons sitting outside on the patio, watching the wild turkeys roam around the yard. They have all the amenities inside the house that you would need, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the bathroom. In the main area there was Keurig with K-Cups, there were also plenty of tea bags in various flavors for the tea drinker. Now one of the best parts was the coffee/bakery just a few steps from the porch. Mimi owns the cottages and the bakery. The stay at the cottage includes a specialty coffee or chai and a scone or cinnamon roll, my favorite part of the morning, a pumpkin chai latte. The location is close to King Canyon and Sequoia National Park. If I’m ever back in this area I would stay there again.

  • Janet and Dave were very hospitable and their place was perfect for visiting Sequoia NP, due to the convenient location. The hot tub was so relaxing after spending long days in the park and Dave even had a campfire ready for us the first night. The cabin is very cozy and the bed was comfortable. They left some special touches in the cabin like some snacks, coffee and water. Both Dave and Janet were friendly and readily available to help with anything we needed, but we we also had plenty of privacy throughout the weekend. My husband and I had a great time and would definitely plan a trip back to Kings X!

  • Loved everything about staying here! My boyfriend and I stayed for a weekend getaway and it was the perfect location for visiting sequoia national park. We also checked out local hiking at salt creek which was very nice! We loved having a hot tub to lounge in at the end of a long day and they even left us some sparkling wine in the fridge 😊 It was romantic and cozy and I would absolutely stay here again! The photos on here don’t showcase just how cozy and cute this place is! We also had a chance to meet Dave during our visit who was super friendly and welcoming.

    Becca2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • Kings X Cabin is such an awesome place to stay when visiting sequoia or three rivers. Janet and Dave are so hospitable, leaving snacks and pre-making a fire pit for use prior to our stay. The cabin was cute! cozy enough to feel comfortable but roomy enough. The backyard view is a plus! we woke up to cows and bunnies (and also a hot tub!) if you visit sequoia, kings canyon or three rivers- we cannot recommend this cabin enough. Me and my (now!) fiancé are already planning another stay soon!

    Kyle2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • This is an awesome place, one that we would stay at again. The location is fantastic for a day at Sequoia or Three Rivers area. The bed was probably one of the best ones we’ve had during travel. Nice extra touches - wood set up in fire pit ready to go, hot tub and grill area all neat. Enjoy!

Enjoy convenient access to the unrivaled splendor of Sequoia National Park by staying just minutes from the park entrance. Relax in the luxurious guesthouse that is within a 5-minute drive (or scenic walk) to riverside restaurants, a coffeehouse, frozen yogurt shop, and a craft brewery, but is secluded, off the main highway, and surrounded by open space. The hosts are area experts and will ensure every guest is comfortable while they experience all that "Kaweah Country" has to offer.
The guesthouse is a studio space with an open floor plan. There are panoramic views of the surrounding foothills, pasturelands, and the incredible Sierra Nevada mountain range. There are several outdoor seating areas that provide optimal views for watching dramatic sunrises and moonrises, a colorful evening alpenglow, diverse birdlife, and all that nature decides to share on a given day. The KITCHEN consists of a refrigerator, induction cooktop, microwave, toaster oven, coffeemaker, blender, eating utensils, dishes, cookware, and a teapot. Organic snacks are supplied; pristine spring water flows from the faucet. The BEDROOM has a queen-size bed, comfortable linens, and blankets. There is closet space to hang clothing. The river-inspired BATHROOM includes a step-in shower; soap, shampoo, and conditioner; plush towels; and a hair-dryer. Other AMENITIES include WiFi; guidebooks, maps, and other reading material on all things local; games and playing cards; and a binder-full of area recommendations, must-see attractions, and can't-miss activities. LAUNDRY: For guests staying three or more nights, laundry facilities in the back of the main house will be made available with prior arrangement.
Three Rivers — the gateway community to Sequoia National Park — is one of the most scenic locales in California. The four distinct seasons create a desirable climate for exploring year-round. Nestled in a river canyon at the entrance to California’s first and oldest national park, Three Rivers is conveniently located halfway between San Francisco and Los Angeles. The full-time population is 2,500 at most. The town is rural and unincorporated yet has the basic services needed to enjoy extended time here: banks/ATMs, health clinic, dental office, pharmacy, veterinarian, hair salons, library, hardware store, post office, online news site, auto repair, 24-hour gas stations, grocery stores and convenience markets, and churches. There are restaurants featuring casual dining — several along the riverfront and with live music — serving fare from made-to-order sandwiches and hot-off-the-grill barbecue to baked goods, Mexican cuisine, ice cream, pizza, and a plated dinner. Three Rivers has artists’ galleries, coffee houses, a brewery taproom and beer garden, wine-tasting, an indoor cycling/yoga studio, a world-famous candy store, and specialty gift and souvenir shops. Recreation includes hiking, mountain biking (BYOB - bring your own bike!), commercial white-water rafting tours (during high-water season), houseboat-kayak-SUP rentals at nearby Lake Kaweah, and guided horseback riding. Sequoia National Park is minutes away and has dozens of natural attractions including the largest tree on the planet, but is also 90% wilderness with 800 miles of scenic trails varying in length and difficulty from easy to strenuous (and we've been on most of them so can help you choose your optimal hike!).
  • I can't express enough about all the thoughtful touches! Everytime I thought, "oops I forgot that!", I would open a drawer and see exactly what I was looking for. If I could work fully remote, I would beg them to allow me to be a permanent house guest! Amazing time, amazing experience, amazing people!

  • Very good albitriones

    Maria2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • We loved Sarah's place! The location is lovely - a little off the beaten path, which we really like. The rental itself was nicely designed and decorated. Although it's attached to the main house, we had lots of privacy and a large back yard area all to ourselves. The landscaping is filled with native plants and bird feeders, we could have watched the busy birds coming and going all day (goldfinch, nuthatch, titmouse and a big old hawk). Surrounded by native landscape, wild flowers and views, this was the perfect weekend getaway. We hope to come back in the spring when the wildflowers will really be popping! Sarah provides wifi but note there isn't a television, which we were totally fine with. She also stocks the cabin with tons of books about the area so we were able to get some research in about the area and the National Parks.

  • It was amazing. Host are just amazing and so friendly. They introduced themselves and gave amazing suggestions and tips. The place is so clean and comfortable. It’s safe and private. Pictures do not do it any justice. So close to sequoia national park and such a quiet area. Will most definitely be coming back.

    Damian2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Very beautiful and comfortable house. Sarah provided detailed instructions for check in. Would love to stay there again and I recommend anybody to book for an awesome experience.

  • Sarah's place is wonderful! It is comfortable, stylish, and in a great location. Sarah gave wonderful local recommendations, and was incredibly hospitable. The fresh squeezed orange juice they made for us was amazing as well. I would highly recommend making this your launching pad to explore Sequoia.

    Lara2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • Sarah is a spectacular host with a wonderful space. She is very knowledgeable about the area and is happy to provide input and guidebooks to help you plan your trip here. We loved staying here and will definitely stay here again next time we come to Sequoia!

    Carolyn2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • Wow. Everything from the space, to the hosts, to the town exceeded my expectations. The studio is cozy, welcoming, clean and peaceful. Sarah and John have clearly put thought into everything. Sarah and John are such warm people and had wonderful recommendations for everything from the local food to good trail runs. They were super supportive in helping me navigate a first time spur of the moment visit to Sequoia in the snow. And while they are available and informative they also balance that with not being intrusive-the studio is still very private. Highly recommend!

  • Our stay was excellent. The home has everything we needed. There is a lot of nature here. Also with whole covid19, the town is still open, but not the parks. Tom & Linda are excellent hosts, let us enjoy entire property alone.

    Juan2020-04-26T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful home ! Very cozy and relaxing perfect for a little get away! Tom and kinda and very nice and helpful ! They left restaurant details, breakfast items and even a s’mores kit !! You can literally watch the stars from the hot tub and are walking distance from the river ! Definitely recommend!

    Tiah2020-04-21T00:00:00Z
  • We originally booked Tom and Linda's place in order to go visit Sequoia national park. Because of COVID-19 the trails were closed, but we still came and enjoyed an amazing experience! The place is very well equipped (they even put some fresh breakfast food in the fridge for us) and includes a warm outdoor hot tub, a grill, a Roku TV and everything else you might need. We didn't know there is no stove top but we managed to still cook on the grill. We will definitely come back when the park is open!

    Guy2020-04-19T00:00:00Z
  • I will DEFINITELY be back!! Great location. So peaceful and relaxing. Their place was perfect for what I was looking for. Loved the hot tub. Thank you both for your hospitality.

  • We really enjoyed our stay! It was a great place and location to everything. I really like how thoughtful they are! The snacks and toiletries saved us.. I had forgotten our toothpaste (oops haha). After being all day in the snow at Sequoia we were looking forward to the hot tub which felt AMAZING! I highly recommend staying with Tom and Linda.

  • Loved my stay at Bradfords place. He was incredible hospitable, gave lots of tips, even looked after my dog while I went out to dinner. Room was nice and clean as well with everything I needed. Quick drive to Sequoia from his place.

    Shane2019-11-08T00:00:00Z
  • Brad’s ranch was the perfect location to explore Kings Canyon National Park when it was a bit too cold to camp. He had great tips about hikes in the area. The space was rustic and contained everything we needed, a bed, bathroom and coffee maker. We had a wonderful stay!

    Jennifer2019-10-21T00:00:00Z
  • Brad's apartment is situated in a rural area of California. However, it is a very good starting point for visits to the Kings & Sequoia National Parks. Since the property is in a very dry and dusty area, it is not perfectly clean. But we found there everything we needed: a quiet place and a comfortable bed. And Brad is a really sympathetic and sociable host. We recommend staying at Brad's apartment especially to outdoor people.

    Mirjam2019-10-07T00:00:00Z
  • Brad was by far one of the best hosts we have had on air BnB. He had a lot of local knowledge helped us plan our trip not only in Sequoia/Kings Canyon but beyond. It's the perfect place for those seeking a quiet secluded setting conveniently located close to the national parks.

    Will2019-09-24T00:00:00Z
  • Bradford's house is rustic and very convenient if your visiting Sequoia or Kings's canyon. It was clean and had good privacy. Would definitely recommend it!

    Uthkarsh2019-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • Brad warned me that I might sleep through my alarm at his place, and he was right! I had a wonderful quiet nights’ sleep here. Bed was comfy and had just what I was looking for. No microwave, but there was a toaster and mini fridge for use. Great jumping off point for Kings Canyon. Brad is super friendly too. Definitely recommend.

    Philip2019-09-19T00:00:00Z
  • Great place for a great value. Great for those going into the Park or Forest.

    Oluwatosin2019-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • Everything as described. We did a late check in and left early in the morning, so we didn’t meet Bradford, but he was always reachable on Airbnb messenger and left everything ready for us. I wouldn’t recommend checking in wen ya pitch black cause it can be a bit too dark, but we found our way without much problem. Such a great peaceful place and amazing bed! So close to sequoia national park!

  • This place was magical. It's in such a pretty area right before you get to Sequoia. The house is super nice, with a gorgeous view of the valley below. The room itself has everything you need, and the bed was quite comfortable. Jana was super responsive throughout the stay too. The biggest highlight though (especially with the parks closed) was the private creek area Jana's place has access to. That whole area is incredible, especially to have to yourselves. It was so much fun to hang out in the sun, swim, and explore the creek. Would definitely recommend - I sure hope to be back soon!

    Bryan2020-04-25T00:00:00Z
  • I highly recommend! Super clean nice and quiet, not to mention a beautiful area and view. The dogs are adorable and Jana is super sweet.

  • This cute cabin is perfect! Lay in bed or on the patio deck and listen to the birds chirp, river flow, and other wildlife in the distance. The views from the cabin are breathtaking & having the chance to star gaze at night from your patio gives you that extra view of the night sky. Totally will be back again!

  • A sweet little cabin that was the perfect little get away for our family. We are Thankful we found it! Cheyenne is an Exceptional Host!!

    Amber2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic spot with everything you need for your stay. The lights inside were a bit too bright, but otherwise it was a really nice cozy cabin. My family and I loved it.

    Lily2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • Cheyenne’s cabin was immaculately cleaned and newly renovated with nice furnishings and brand new carpets. It is definitely located off the beaten path a bit and feels nice and secluded but still in a neighborhood with surrounding neighbors. I loved how close it was to the entrance to King’s National Park, which was the reason for our visit. Super cozy cuddling up by the wood stove after a long day exploring the park. We will definitely return next time we plan on visiting the parks!

    Kristen2020-01-21T00:00:00Z
  • This newly renovated cute cabin is conveniently located near (20 minutes) the entrance of Kings Canyon National Park. It was perfect for our family of four. It has everything you need for home style cooking. Cheyenne keeps it spotlessly clean and that gave a peace of mind while staying. The deck and the large yard provided some spaces for the kids to explore. Despite the narrow drive way I was able to park our mini van right in front of the house. We enjoy our stay very much and recommend it to any family of four.

  • Cheyenne was a great host and the cabin is very well equipped with all the necessary kitchen equipment. The night before our stay, it snowed over two feet. Cheyenne has a path cleared for us in the snow and left shovel and firewood for us to use. The fireplace and the kitchen came in handy for us to spend the following day indoors. It was a beautiful stay!

    Deepak2019-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • Place is just as described! Super cozy and has what you need (only suggestion is TV!) We unfortunately got lots of snow and weren’t able to explore sequoia but the cabin was great to spend our thanksgiving evening. I’d definitely come back, highly recommend!

  • It was the best staying experience with airbnb ever. Accommodation is in excellent condition and much better than the photos. Very clean. And most importantly, Sheila is a very sweet and kind person. She was like a mother to us while we were at her house, she took care of everything. Very nice companion. Also the accommodation is very close to King's Canyon Park. If you are looking for housing in this area - I highly recommend, you will not regret.

  • This vacation home is easy to find and it has a lot of flat areas for the kinds to run around. The check-in instructions were clear and simple and we had no problem letting ourselves in when we arrived at night. It has pretty much everything we need in the kitchen to cook some simple home style meals. And, the central forced air heater is definitely a big plus in the chilling night in February.

  • Thelma’s home is super cozy and we had an amazing stay! Make sure to check the local routes as google maps wasn’t right when we tried to get to the national parks but the home is a nice 30-40 mins away from the entrance to Kings Canyon. Definitely would visit again!

    Beatriz2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • Very nice and clean

    Giora2019-11-21T00:00:00Z
  • Great location, super quiet and peaceful. Thelma was very accommodating on short notice. Good getaway place for a weekend that is pretty close to the nearby National Parks. I would definitely recommend staying here.

  • Here is nature world. I watched wild fox, cats etc.. good house, good host!

  • Nice spot close to Kings Canyon and Sequoia. We enjoyed all the local fauna- lots of wild turkeys! Highly recommend hanging out in the lookout spot behind the house. There are great views during the day and of the sky at night! (You won't be able to see the stars otherwise because of the security lights. But venture just beyond them and it's great!)

    Kara2019-10-23T00:00:00Z
  • Very nice clean and quiet house

    Yang2019-10-19T00:00:00Z
  • Thelma's place was a nice proximity between Yosemite and Kings Canyon/Sequoia. There were some nice amenities available and plenty of items to cook with. The kitchen could use a spritzing but guests should have about everything they need. The mattresses were a bit squeaky but sleepable and the shower head height will be uncomfortably low for anyone over 5'6". The location is cozy in the woodland uphills and the proximity to Kings Canyon highlights the value. Directions/entry instructions were straight forward and clear. Thank you!

  • Good, clean place. Great after hard exploring of Sequoia National Forest! Can recommend!

    Serhii2019-09-16T00:00:00Z
  • This was just what we needed, a quiet place to sleep. The bed was comfortable, plenty of space. When we arrived at the driveway, we were greeted by their two black dogs, who walked us, as we drove, up to the house. If you're an animal lover, you'll think it's the cutest! If you're not, it's still the cutest! The host was quick to respond and very pleasant! Would definitely come again!

  • We had a wonderful evening and night at Bogdan, Anna and their children. If you want to rent a nice room close to the Sequoia Park, this is the place to go. We were very touched by the kindness of this family, and their home that breathes happiness. Again thank you for everything, we will return with great pleasure. See you soon in France! Kim & Brice.

You will feel right at home in our darling cabins! Over the top bedding with allergen/mite covers. Comfortable shower and did I mention clean??? :) *** I want my guests to be aware of the fact that during this time we are going above and beyond our regular HIGH standard of disinfecting and cleaning!
We are on 2 acres and they are yours to explore! We are in a mountainous area with different terrain, and who knows what you may happen upon. I have seen wild turkeys, quail, lizards, squirrels etc. we do have pest service; however, as my family tells me “you cannot conquer nature.” 🤦🏻‍♀️ In the front of our cabins we have a coffeehouse that serves a WIDE variety of coffees which can be hot, blended or iced. We make all our scones, bagels, cookies onsite. We are open Friday-Monday. With your nights stay you receive a complimentary coffee and baked good. If your stay is Monday - Wednesday night I will leave some baked goods in your room. There is a coffeemaker in the room too. Looking forward to hosting you!! Mimi :)
A short drive to the North entrance to the Sequoia and Kings Canton National Parks. Very close to the parks visitor center.
  • Mimi was not only super communicative and Easy to work with, she also went above and beyond to let me know that the coffee shop would be closed and provided cinnamon buns for breakfast. The room was well stocked with coffee, creamers, and sugar. It was clean and cute!

    Shonna2020-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • Mimi’s cabin is truly idyllic. It’s the perfect getaway but still close to Fresno and other cities. It’s a short drive away from King’s Canyon and Sequoia National Park. While we spent our days exploring the parks, the most fun was coming back to the quiet cabin with Netflix. In the morning, Mimi’s Cafe is ... honestly a dream: straight out of an issue of Condé Nast. Included in the stay is a pastry and coffee in the morning, but I’d recommend doing the upgrade and get the avocado on bagel. The only downside is that the closest place to eat is a short drive away there aren’t a lot of options, but Mimi gave us great recommendations and we were not disappointed! We will definitely be back :)

    Sandra2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Mimi's cabins are easy to find and exactly as described/pictured. The coffee shop was amazing. All the little added touches in our room were exceedingly delightful! For sure would stay here again and recommend to others!

  • Great location! Very close and convenient to Sequoia. Small but clean, comfortable & private. I love that there was both private & shared outdoor space for all of the rentals. We were there less than 24 hours, so didn’t have an opportunity to take much advantage of the outdoor space & river views much, but they looked amazing! Would definitely stay here again!

    Jacinda2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay here was wonderful! A beautiful, cozy spot with great access to the Sequoia park entrance.

    Noreen2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • The lodge itself is exactly as good as described, and I greatly recommend it. The river next to the lodge is very serene and beautiful, with a small romantic bench overlooking it. One tip: get there before dark, the view is something you don't want to miss.

    Udi2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay at the Garden Cottage in Three Rivers. Check in was a breeze and the instructions from Shea were extremely helpful without having any cell service in the area. The coffee and snacks were a great touch to come back to after hiking all day. Cozy room, and all accommodations were accurate to the listing. We enjoyed exploring down by the river and wished we had more time to enjoy the outdoor areas- most of our time was up in the sequoia trees. The local recommendations were much appreciated and helped shape our trip. We can't recommend Pamela & Shea enough!

    Jake2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • The garden cottage where I stayed was adorable. It had all the amenities I needed for a 3 day stay and super close to the hikes I wanted to take. I couldn't find a single detail wrong as the place was sparkling clean.

    Marissa2020-02-27T00:00:00Z

  • The place was amazing. We only stayed for one night but wish we would’ve stayed a little longer. The views from the Airbnb are gorgeous and the river area by it are so relaxing. It was really close to the Sequoia NP. Also, the place is really clean!

This 1950 cabin is in a secluded location in the town of Pinehurst, Ca. and is decorated in a mid-century style. It is rustic, but comfortable, and a great place to disconnect from the regular day to day. The Pinehurst Lodge, five minutes away, is open daily, with full restaurant and bar. Twenty minutes away by car is entrance to Kings Canyon National Park, gateway to Grant's Tree, Cedar Grove, and the Giant Sequoia Forest.
The master bedroom is downstairs, and has a 1965 Broyhill bedroom set with a full size bed. The bathroom, with the original clawfoot tub is off the bedroom. There are 2 rooms upstairs with peaked 8 foot ceilings, one is another bedroom with two antique twin beds. The large fireplace is located in the center of the main room, and is the main source of heat in the cabin. The kitchen is fully functional, with an adjacent dining area and small pantry. There is a large outside deck with a charcoal barbecue for outdoor eating.
The Pinehurst Lodge is a one hundred year old restaurant and bar open seven days a week, and is a great place for folks who enjoy eating out. You are also close to Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks, both of which have some world famous sights, as well as all sorts of outdoor activities.
  • What a great place! We love how it's decorated, how it's the perfect size, all the little details. That cabin is so magical, Tim - you are so lucky you can go anytime you want! Thanks again, Nick & Maddie

    Nick2020-04-24T00:00:00Z
  • Tim was great to work with. I booked Tim's cabin just before the stay-at-home order was issued for my area, and Tim was completely understanding and accommodating about needing to cancel the trip at the last minute. He even offered to rebook the trip at a later date for the same cost (which I was unfortunately unable to do at this time). I am looking forward to staying at Tim's place in the future, and can't recommend him enough as a wonderful host. He was great to communicate with, thoughtful, and accommodating. Thanks again, Tim!

    Josh2020-03-19T00:00:00Z
  • We loved staying at Tim's cabin. It was exactly what we were looking for, a private cabin out in the woods nearby the national parks. We arrived at night and were so excited the next morning to see the beautiful location of the cabin! And it's far enough from the cities that you can see the stars perfectly at night. The cabin was so cozy, kept warm by the buck stove, clean, and had all needed amenities. And Tim was a great host, so accommodating and caring; he was very communicative, making sure we knew how to get to the cabin and that our check-in and check-out went smoothly. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a great weekend, Tim!

    Burcu2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Thank you! Thank you! Everything was perfect. Tim’s communication was excellent. The locals were wonderful and we definitely want to return for more adventures in California and hope we can use Tim’s cabin again!

    Mike And Laura2020-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful time staying in Tim's cabin! Communication with him was great, he was very helpful with directions and check in. The cabin is very cosy and we liked the seclusion and quietness. The location of the cabin is great for exploring the National Parks.

    Lena2020-02-07T00:00:00Z
  • Tim was great about communicating with us and walking us through the check in process. The location of the cabin was gorgeous.

    Casey2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • If ten stars were an option, they would be given to Tim's cabin! Nearly all odds seemed to want to make our trip difficult, namely the two feet of snow that fell over the area our first night. Every step of the way - making sure we had firewood, clear communication when PG&E temporarily cut off power, checking in to see if we were comfortable and warm - Tim was there! So were some folks up at the Pinehurst Lodge who helped us get our car onto the (surprisingly well kept!) roads. The solemnity of the place...truly unmatched. What a unique place!

You are in serenity to settle your breath and your heart. Ten minutes away is a fork into Sequoia or Kings Canyon (must see) National Park. Both provide the Giant Trees, caves, varieties of hikes and fishing locations. Or simply a walk from the cabin
As given by guests, a five star property for a good reason and a great place to stay. The cabin is as described, and the bonus is an amazing western view from the mountains. Sitting comfortably on the deck provides a beautiful arrangement of colors in the setting sun. Set on a mountain slope, the cabin at 4200 ft looking out into the westward terrain. You want peace and quiet: a road less traveled passes the cabin and for the early riser, get a cup of coffee and enjoy yourself on the deck or take a nice walk on a road less traveled (Hogback Rd.) for a scenic view. Fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. When you arrive late and hungry and tired, there is a Belgium waffle maker on the kitchen counter. In the pantry under the stairway, there is waffle mix [THERE IS OIL BUT NEED EGGS] and syrup. In the refrigerator, there are sticks of butter and various condiments. Mixing bowls, spatulas, utensils, and plates are provided in the kitchen drawers and cupboards. And of course the necessary can opener and a crockpot. In addition, on the back porch, is a three burner propane barbecue. I sear various red meat, turning both sides at least twice to get grill marks. Then I put the meat on a cookie sheet over a low fire above the middle burner. The outer burners produce the high indirect heat. Helps to clean for the next Grill Master. [Costco has great tri tip roast. Remember to marinate the roast and other meats over night. Yummy] There is no Starbucks. No worries though! There is a Keurig waiting for you who can't survive without coffee. If you desire a cup of coffee, there is a Keurig on the counter with coffee pods and creamers in the drawer below. Those of you who brought your favorite coffee beans, just look in the cupboard to the right of the sink. A quick look to find a grinder and a French Press. Also, on the counter, is a electric teapot for the hot water. Let’s not leave out other necessary wishes: WIFI and VCR. There is already a collection of DVDs. This is a cozy cabin, well-equipped and well maintained. It is very private and cozy, so perfect for your vacation. You will enjoy sunset and color changes in the sky so beautiful and the night skies are also amazing. The front yard is big enough to play ball, and you should even bring and set up badminton net and play. The cabin provides comfortable beds with comforters, multiple pillows, nice linen and nice towels after a hot shower or enjoying a bubble bath. There is a laundry hamper in the upstairs bathroom and the downstairs closet across from the pantry. (Please put used linen and towels in the hampers at the end of your visit) If you are looking for additional trash bags, on the dining table side of the stove counter, there is a low level storage door containing trash bags. Outside, inside the fence, are two sanitation containers for trash and recycle. Thank you for using them. We look forward to suggestions that would enhance your experience.
  • The house was great. It’s an upscale cabin with modern amenities (dish washer, ceiling fans, etc.). It was very clean and basic food supplies provided (cooking oil, coffee, etc.). We went in the middle of winter so it was very cold outside and the only method to warm up the house was the wood-burning stove but there was plenty of wood to keep the fire going. If you’re looking to get away from a busy life this is a great place.

    Whitney2020-01-04T00:00:00Z
  • This is an impeccably clean and cozy cabin very close to Kings Canyon entrance. Although snow was on the ground when we arrived, no snow fell the 2 days we spent at the cabin. Thus, getting around was easy and safe. However, would definitely bring my snowshoes next winter visit because the snow in the Park was perfect for a trek!

    Jenny2019-12-26T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful cabin and excellent location.

    Teresa2019-12-21T00:00:00Z
  • This is a great place to stay if you’re visiting King’s Canyon. Bring chains if it’s snowy. All the previously written reviews were pretty accurate. If you like peace & quiet, comfort, and a place spend “family time”, this is the place for you. Don’t bring board games, Michael provides those too!

    Melvin2019-11-27T00:00:00Z
  • OMFG Michael is amazing. His tips and knowledge of the area were just so helpful and great, especially given that this area is so secluded. We were first timers and his tips were very helpful. The place is breathtaking. Your view of the area is worth the price alone. The cabin is so precious and feels loved. While it doesn't have the Internet too well, it makes up for with great movies and just the opportunity to bond with the people you travel to this magical place with on your trip. Also, FYI, they have a crock-pot, so perfect. The waffle maker is amazing and there is ready made supplies for you. I cannot express how wonderful this location is for anyone wanting a picturesque "trip to the mountains". 15 minutes from King's Canyon? You betcha! You just cannot beat the pristine perfection that is Michael's place. His hosting is out of this world and worth more than any map or brochure could hope to give you.

    Chris2019-10-28T00:00:00Z
  • Very nice cabin an hour or so from main attractions in park. Michael was an amazing host and accommodated us in every way. We even extended our stay an extra night.

    Dane2019-10-25T00:00:00Z
  • House was clean and well stocked with anything you could need. Like a home someone lives in. Comfortable beds and commons areas. Both bedrooms are on the second floor and there is a stairway to get to the house from the driveway- something to note it you are traveling with anyone who has trouble with stairs. But other than that the place was very comfortable, great location to Sequoia National Park and Kings Canyon. Everything worked in the house, it was a great place that I would visit again. Thanks Michael!

    Rebecca2019-10-10T00:00:00Z

We invite you to stay at our historic Inn located on the edge of Kings Canyon & Sequoia National Park! After a long day of mountain adventuring, what could be better than a good nights rest and a home-cooked meal? Maybe even a cold beer to top it off! Come enjoy the vibe at the world-famous Gena's Sierra Inn with restaurant on site. Room 1: This particular space is perfect for a family or group of travelers, offering a double bed and a set of twin bunks. Cozy, lodge-style furnishings.
This sweet roadside Inn, nestled in the heart of the Sierra foothills, has been "home" to travelers from all over the world. Gena and her crew treat all of our guests like family, and we wouldn't have it any other way.
  • Awesome place. I recommend to anyone visiting the area. Be careful about the maps (google, apple or waze) look for the "Inn" sign and you will not miss.

  • Great place to stay to be near the national parks

    Sergio2019-10-02T00:00:00Z
  • Great location and value for a weekend trip to Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Parks. It's about 1 hour from Lodgepole Visitor Center (Sequoia) and 30 min from Kings Canyon Visitor Center (Kings Canyon). The room had all the amenities we needed for our short stay and the beds were comfortable (on the firm side). We didn't eat at the restaurant next door but I'm glad we had the option to!

    Queenie2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • Gena's Inn is the perfect place to stay if you want to venture into Sequoia and Kings Canyon national parks! We only needed a place to sleep at night, but were pleasantly surprised to be able to eat at her restaurant which serves amazing food! Highly recommend the salmon and the pasta! The check-in process was a breeze, we had designated parking in front and they let us fill our hydration packs at the restaurant. One thing to be aware - google maps is a little inaccurate when you type in the address. Just look for the Inn on the road.

    Subhamoy2019-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • Definitely "quirky", but would recommend! Bathroom is split between a 1/2 bath in one small room, and a shower with changing area on opposite side of the wall. Beds are definitely on the firm side, but for me at least the large bed was still soft enough for me to sleep comfortably on my side. We had some car trouble en route, putting us at the Inn much later than intended, but after a quick message to our host we were given our room door code so we could get right in when we arrived (after check-in hours), which we very much appreciated. We only stayed one night, but it was perfect for what we were looking for, very close to King's Canyon/Sequoia, and much easier on the wallet than any other place nearby. Basic - just a dresser, beds, and I think a small bench, but clean and comfortable. Perfect for we needed. We noticed a small kids play area just outside which we didn't have a chance to utilize but definitely would have had we gotten in on time. We grabbed breakfast burritos on our way out in the morning, which were delicious. Pictures of the room were very accurate - we enjoyed our stay!

    Emily2019-08-01T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to stay before entering Sequoia Kings Canyon. WIFI is a little challenging at times but overall the place is comfortable, cute and the restaurant is delicious too. Would stay here again!

  • We were delightfully surprised by our experience here. Friendly hostess who gave us helpful tips about the area and treated us like friends. The food at the restaurant was superb (breakfast and dinner) and very reasonably priced. Gena is the sole proprietor and does a fantastic job with her business. Highly recommend this little jewel.

My home offers beautiful views and is only minutes away from Sequoia Park entrance. I encourage guest to enjoy breakfast on the deck or in our relaxing zen sunroom. You have access to the gourmet kitchen, big living room with t.v., and two patio decks overlooking three rivers. The only cell phone service that reaches our location is AT&T. There are two Oak Grove Drives in the area, mine is the second Rd. There is a no-shoes in home policy so please leave shoes at the door. :)
Your private room and bathroom are located upstairs next to living room, kitchen and sunroom. We provide linens, fresh towels, shampoo and conditioner. The room is equipped with a comfortable pillow top mattress, fan and small heater for extra comfort.
Our neighborhood is super quite, you can hear the wild animals at night and the birds chirping in the morning, it feels like luxury camping
