On a quiet, tucked away lane in the heritage heart of West Leederville, is a light-filled and airy studio apartment overlooking a green and flower-filled private courtyard. From sleepy first-light chirping, there's a constant chatter of birdlife especially in the big Liquid Amber tree which gives the treehouse treasure its unique character.
With polished wooden flooring, private bathroom, Scandinavian furniture, double bed (solid fold out couch) and great cooking facilities (scanpan, microwave, rice cooker, fridge) this is a very comfortable space.
This area is the heritage part of West Leederville where many of the houses were built around 1920. The big, graceful street trees which create such a cool, shady environment were planted many years ago.
  • The treehouse was a lovely quiet retreat amongst the trees. The breakfast included was an added bonus with many more extra goodies supplied. Would highly recommend to others to stay in the treehouse & we will be back one day soon.

  • Had a wonderful stay. The tree house is well equipped and very clean. Even aircon and venti are available. The. The fridge was filled with some food, water, juice, eggs. That saved us the first evening as we still had something to eat after our late arrival. We would start our Australia trip at Felicity again at any time or stop by anytime.   • A self contained home away from home situated in a quiet leafy inner suburb. Very comfortable beds. An excellent well stocked fridge on arrival. And an independent entrance so no need to bother the host. Excellently situated for local transport links to and from the city. Buses and trains run regularly. There is a very good range of local restaurants and bars all within a few minutes walk.

  • It is much more beautiful than Sijin. There is a large mart just a 1-minute walk away, a subway 3 minutes away and a free cat bus 5 minutes away. Best of all, the beautiful Monger Lake is a 10-minute walk away. I took a walk every day, and the beautiful scenery keeps remembering over time. The house was clean and there is also a small own garden. I filled up the food in the refrigerator so I could have breakfast. Please go. Strongly recommend

    West Leederville is an ideal location for holiday goers in Summer. You have all the amenity you could wish for and most importantly you are close to the beach and the city. My place has a beautiful kitchen with good size living and 50" TV with DVD player. Great family activities, good nightlife, public transport.You’ll love my place because of the neighbourhood, the light, the comfy bed, the kitchen. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families (with kids).
    You are in a small complex in a highly desired location. The unit is located at ground floor and filled with natural light and offers a large living space for dining and relaxing.
    This is a residential unit you have to respect other residents. Strictly no party, loud music, no drugs and smoke. We are firm with quiet time between 10pm-7am.

  • This flat is located in a suburb area, 10-15 min by bus and 2 stations by train. The bus stops to/from Perth CBD or beach are within a min. Shops and train stations are also within 10-15 min walk. Attached car park only fits to a small to medium sized car but still fine. The owner responds quickly and communication was very smooth.

    Spacious entire unit in leafy West Leederville. Near Perth CBD, Subiaco and Leederville, St John of God Hospital and bus and train services. 3km to CBD, 7km to beach.
    The studio is light-filled and has recently been renovated . It overlooks a beautiful garden and there is a separate pathway and entrance to the studio so guests can come and go without feeling like they are intruding.
    West Leederville has lots to offer. Its a five minute walk to the local centre where there is a Coles, chemist, newsagent, Post Office, hairdressers and other shops. There are seven cafes within walking distance all highly recommended. It's a ten minute walk to the very popular Leederville centre where you will find a supermarket, shops, cafes, restaurants, bars and cinemas. Ten minutes is all it takes to walk to Subiaco centre which is a large centre again with supermarkets, numerous shops, cafes, restaurants. Beautiful Lake Monger is a five minute walk away and this wetland wonderland is a delightful experience. Once you get there, it takes about 40 minutes to walk around the lake and enjoy the flora and fauna.

Ian was a great host and was always on hand if I needed anything. Ian and his wife even popped along to my fringe show and provided some welcome and useful feedback! Hamish (the dog) was very attentive to my needs also visiting most days to say hello !

  • We spent five wonderful weeks at Pauline's lovely townhouse. Everything was perfect! Beautiful, contemporary, open and light-filled space that was clean as a whistle. Excellent location close to cafes, restaurants, gym, grocery stores and right on the bus route either into Perth (8 minutes) or to the coast (10 minutes). It couldn't have been better.

    Nestled in amongst the Gum Trees and parklands and a few minutes walk to Lake Monger, the apartment is perfectly situated for anyone who loves the great outdoors. 12 Minute walk to Leederville Cafe Strip where you will also find a 24 hour Supa IGA, 24 Hour Petrol Station, Liquor Store, Theatre and many more wonderful coffee shops, funky retail shops and awesome restaurants. 5 Minutes walk is the fully renovated Oxford Hotel where you can have a wonderful meal in their beautiful alfresco dining area. 10 Minute walk to the Paddington Alehouse, a Mount Hawthorn icon. 12 Minute walk to the Mount Hawthorn cafe strip with Retail shops, Bakeries, Woolworths, Restaurants and many other interesting places. 10 Minute walk to Lake Monger, this deserves a look, it is a beautiful wetland full of Black Swans, and all sorts of bird life, if you are lucky in the right season you will get to meet their babies :-) 18 Minute walk to the Leederville Train Station where it is only a short trip in to the CBD. If you are game it's a 56 minute walk into the CBD or and 11 minute drive if you are not that game. 40 Minute walk or 6 minute drive to Watertown, Perth's DFO Mt Lawley Cafe Strip is a 5 minute drive. Oxford medical centre is directly opposite the apartment block.

    This is a great modern styled 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom, air-conditioned ground floor apartment situated at the end of a cul-de-sac in the heart of a great café district, Leederville. The master bedroom boasts a new queen sized bed suite with a comfortable pillow top mattress and a large closet hidden behind floor to ceiling mirrors. There is a pull out single bed for an extra guest to sleep on (available for $10 extra per night) a cot is also available on request. The second bedroom contains a homely brand new double bed suite with a pillow top mattress and beautiful art work. The living area contains the normal creature comforts and the modern and newly renovated kitchen is modestly equipped with plenty of tools for those with culinary talents. To provide the very best facilities for our guest we have installed a state of the art water filtration system into our kitchen tap. The bathroom has been styled in a contemporary fashion transforming it into a relaxing retreat, and the soft fluffy towels provided will make sharing this space with loved ones even harder than usual in the morning. Our aim is to make your stay as peaceful and relaxing as possible so to help facilitate this we have provided free high speed wireless internet, fresh linen, soft towels, tea and coffee, shampoo, conditioner, soap, toilet rolls and laundry powder.
    The Leederville entertainment district comprises a renowned coffee strip, restaurants and bars, all within a leisurely 10 minute walk from the apartment. You will also find a chemist, bottle shop and 24 hour supermarket (IGA). Lake Monger is a short walk away which is ideal for morning runs or a gentle stroll to watch the swans. Mount Hawthorn is a 15 minute walk in the other direction which has a Woolworths for a cheaper supermarket choice. Yokine Golf Course is a 10 minute drive away.

  • Highly recommend! First, the location is great. Very close to Leederville train station (one stop to Perth Underground) and just one block from #15 bus. Transperth is an excellent system - download the app and you'll appreciate the location even more! Oxford Street offers tons of restaurants, shopping and cafes - also close to parks & Lake Monger. There is a supermarket (The Good Grocer) that is about a 10 minute walk from the unit. If you are renting a car, there is a parking space that is secure. Second, the pictures do not do it justice! The unit is very new, spacious (closet is heavenly!) & well appointed. Shower is excellent, great kitchen to cook and Linda offered nice touches like extra towels. Third, Linda is a fabulous host! Very responsive :-) We stayed for 3 weeks and loved every single second. Great place as a base to explore Perth - what are you waiting for?!

The check in was very easy (& so the communication with the lovely hosts). The room (which you have for your own) is not too huge, but it includes all stuff and furniture you might need (especially the kitchen), the wifi worked very well. we stayed two nights, therefore it was absolutely nice!

    If you value cleanliness, peace, privacy, then you have found the right lodging! You won’t find a better location as this may be one of the ONLY apartment buildings on either Barrack or Murray Street - the heart of CBD. Right across the street from main Perth train station. The apartment is on a top floor - you can tell by the photo off your balcony. Northbridge is THE BEST of Perth! There is no TV or radio in this apartment because we like to be out & about as the LGQTA or enjoying serenity.
    The place is nearly brand new. You can use everything in the common areas. Just please return the electronic key we give you or you forfeit the deposit (that’s really how much that dang key costs!) The apartment itself is surprisingly twice as large as a normal CBD apartment so you will be pleased. It is in a hotel building. The first 9 floors are hotel rooms and then floors 10-15 above that in the same hotel building are classy, Art Deco apartments.

The historic Guildford Hotel has just reopened after being gutted by fire several years ago Walking distance to cafes, as well as Porkies American BBQ across the road, Civic Hotel, Coles, laundromat, takeaways & 24 hr convenience store. Also ten minute walk ( or next train stop down) to Maylands, ( voted coolest suburb in Perth by Lonely Planet) 5 minute drive to Galleria shopping centre. Unfortunately Perth doesn't have a rail link from the airport yet, a taxi will cost you approx $30 from international and $20 from domestic terminals. Uber is approx $12-$16 from the domestic terminal depending on time of day. We also have UberEATS available in the area.

    Such great value for a fully equipped, 1 bedroom updated apartment in the heart of West Leederville. There are shops, buses, trains, food courts and all your needs covered within walking distance. Simply park out the back and take the elevator up to the apartment. A short walk around the corner and you have access to a free bus service to Perth that runs every 10 minutes.
    The apartment is self-contained with multiple car parking options and has a fully equipped kitchen with microwave, stove, oven, dishwasher and large fridge to make meals a pleasure. The sitting area allows for relaxing with a movie or sports on the large flat screen TV. The bedroom has plenty of storage that allows you to put away your clothes in an orderly fashion. Common laundry available at the complex and the apartment has a washer/dryer in the kitchen for your convenience.
    There's public (bus) transport within walking distance or easy access to the freeway (North / South). The beach is about 10 min away and you can see the city from the apartment. A free bus to the city stops just around the corner and a shopping centre, cafe's and parks are also in walking distance.

  • Pauline’s place is perfectly located in West leederville. Close to fantastic bakeries, coffee shops and herdsman lake. The house has all the required amenities, stylish furniture and is very well presented (very clean and comfortable). Check in and check out was simple with lockbox. Pauline was quick to respond to any questions or requests prior to the stay and during it. Definitely recommend and would stay here again when next back in Perth.

To the west is Wembley and City Beach. Cottesloe beach is 15 minutes drive and the city of Perth is visible from the home being 3 km by car away.

  • If you can stay with one host in Perth, stay with Natalie and Jake. They are kind, thoughtful people with a beautiful home. We had an extended stay with them for 4 weeks while visiting from Canada and working in Perth. The location is a good one, depending on what you're looking for. For us, we loved being right across the street from the lake, watching all of the amazing birds, and being able to go for walks around the lake. If we wanted to go to the movies (indoor our outdoor theatre) or grab a great dinner, it was a 5 minute bike ride or 20 minute walk. About the same amount to 3 different train stations that can get you to the various beaches. There are some wonderful cafes with great food within a 5-10 minute walk, and the grocery store is about a 15 minute walk. The bed was comfortable, and plenty of linens of good quality. When coronavirus forced us to leave back to Canada early, Natalie and Jake worked with us to sort out a refund, and even helped us return our bikes since we didn't have time. This illustrates their kindness and willingness to go above and beyond. They made us feel very welcome, the space was quiet and spacious, and we would stay here again without hesitation.

    Incredibly close to public transport, the CBD, Leederville, Northbridge, freeways, cafes, bars and restaurants. Very secure 3 bedroom house on a centrally located cul de sac. Old house with wooden floorboards and high ceilings, recently renovated with nice garden, two small chickens (Gertrude and Keith), two cats (Apollo and Hermes) and two housemates (Chloe and Nathan). Feel free to play PlayStation on the projector, hang out in the yard with a wine, lounge in the lounge with some records.
    Shared lounge and kitchen area, shared outdoor area. Sharing the bath and bathroom with one other housemate. Your room is first on the left with double doors
    Leederville is an easy 5 minute stroll so there are plenty of cafes and bars and small shops. The free bus route into the city is just around the corner (although it’s a 15 min walk into northbridge), the freeway entry is near us, as are a few different train stations. It’s a quiet tucked away little area very close to a lot of action.

  • My stay at Chloe's was very nice. I didn't meet Chloe, but her house mate and Co-host Nathan, who was nice the few times I met him. Chloe was away travelling and Nathan was busy working aa lot, so most of the time I had pretty much the entire house to myself. Although Chloe was overseas, she was very responsive to my messages and once I had arrived and self-checked in, I was able to make myself at home. The place is super conveniently located... it's a (free) 5-min bus ride into the CBD where one can find anything you could possibly ask for. Chloe's cats are adorable, they snug into my room a few times for cuddles :) I'd recommend Chloe's place to anyone traveling to Perth, who want to stay at a chill place, close to the CBD. Numerous cafes and coffee shops, supermarkets (including Coles and Woolworths), delis, fashion boutiques , renowned restaurants, bars, pubs and public transport mean that you have everything you need within 300m of my home. The Saturday morning Farmers Market is known as the best in Perth and I would certainly recommend it.

    In cool Mt Lawley close to the city is our renovated cabin, a private, one bed ensuite retreat. This one bed cabin is nestled in a garden grown from scratch on a quarter acre block at the rear of an old art deco house.
    Fully secure space, separate from the house = full privacy. WIFI in the cabin. Off street parking available if you have a car. There isn't a kitchen, but a fridge and microwave are available for keeping drinks cold and warming up food in the undercover, outdoor lounge. The cabin is cosy and ideal for one guest.
    One of the oldest suburbs in Perth, Mt Lawley is dotted with many interesting heritage properties. We are walking distance to ECU, the Beaufort St shops, Fitzgerald St (Coles supermarket), Northbridge and the CBD. If you need to move more quickly, there's off street parking out front, or you can catch a bus 300m away which takes you to the CBD in 12 minutes. There are 3 supermarkets close by. This is what the local real estate agent says: Famous for its ever vibrant and ever-busy Beaufort Street cafe strip, Mt Lawley is more than just an excellent destination for dining or a leisurely day out. Sitting right on the city's doorstep, and bounded by the Swan River to the east, Mt Lawley is always bustling with activity - especially when it comes to an exciting line-up of shows and festivals.
