Tumbleweed Manor (Large 5 bedroom house)

Tumbleweed Manor is a great base for canyons and hiking. The surrounding area has the highest density of slot canyons in the world and is close to Capitol Reef, Goblin Valley, the San Rafael Swell, and Lake Powell. I have set up the house for groups, with a big deck, games, and a great selection of maps and guidebooks. I can recommend trips, ranging from easy hikes with the family to full-on canyon adventures with ropes. Heads up that two of the bedrooms are in a partly unfinished basement.

Canyon Wren Haven: A Romantic Retreat for Couples

A couples’ retreat, the Canyon Wren Cottage is sculpted into bedrock amongst pinion pines and old growth mountain mahogany brush. A picturesque erosion sculpted sandstone monolith rises four stories at the edge of the yard, just beyond the cottage. The approach to the cottage from Teasdale Road, is down a short lane crossing through woodland fringed meadow with a wetland on one side and alfalfa cultivation on the other. The backdrop is beautiful rock form, including a large balanced rock.
